  1. I used to go on it at first, but I found the members kinda aggressive at times. I remember going to go on it in sometime in 2006 and it said I was banned!??!? So I was emailing Debs, and she couldnt work out why it happened.... now I cant log into it anyway. This place is the best place :nice:
  2. Haha! I was watching this last night (there was nothing else on alright!) I saw you without even realising.... heh! so you saw the skanky Michelle?
  3. I also agree that we have a right to say what we want. Basically every Coldplay gig up until now has had standing tickets, I don't quite get why they've (or their management or whatever) changed their minds all of a sudden...perhaps a new stage in the corporate 'league' they seemed to have entered since X&Y.....I have been to the 02 when it was standing for a much more violent, pushy gig and it was absolutely fine, so its nothing bad with the venue's safety! Crowds for Coldplay are never violent either. Of course, most of us will put up with it because our need to see the band is there... but it doesn't mean that we can't be annoyed about it. Im very grateful I got a ticket. but I reserve my right to have a bit of a moan about it, because it's my favourite band, and they don't seem to have thought through this idea of all seats for what their British fans obviously normally enjoy; the chance to stand and have the chance to be as close as possible to the band they love.
  4. Incredible!!! almost looks like a drawing! :o
  5. The last time I was at the O2 was for the NME big gig...... and I was front row... so this is going to be a bit of a let down, haha. I wish it would have been the other way around... Coldplay front row... and nme gig in a seat. A Parachutes night! Why, what a good idea :nice: AROBTTH & Parachutes are it for me. To put it bluntly, only Square One from X&Y comes near to those two albums! Fearne Cotton is an idiot, and I'm scared the O2 will be full of people like her who think Coldplay started with Speed of Sound :disappointed:
  6. Yeah.... they just got bigger and bigger and bigger..... and bigger. Superstars now :o I'd do anything to hear the old stuff! Lets hope it happens this time around :nice: Bet the tickets were cheap back then as well
  7. Indeed it is!!! and please call me Kara, my username is a tad lame heh :) *sigh* to be an old skool Coldplay fan...you lucky, lucky thing. Must be scary to see the scale they've grown to now. Did you ever meet them?
  8. Damn....I am jeeeealous! I really, really wish I had gone to see them way back in the day. I'm jealous of anyone who was at that 2002 Glasto. Parachutes and the unveiling of AROBTTH tracks! Who could want more! :o Spies is just amazing because of the buildup in it. It sounds pathetic, but the beginning of it brings tears to my eyes sometimes, its that kind of song   Can I just add how underrated I feel High Speed is too?! :)
  9. Oh yeah!!! Thats a nice link. I bet Chris ran out of lyrics and thought noone would notice
  10. It would be a song that you already have I would guess! SPIEEEEES! :nice: I just love it.... I love the Glastonbury 2002 version of it.... and the '1st version' of it. Warning Sign is still a close 2nd. Its very hard for me to pick favourites from AROBTTH and Parachutes though...

JEALOUSY!!! I so wish I'd gone to Crystal Palace :( Don't even know why I didnt, That Japan gig sounded like the best thing ever. Spiiiiiiiies :dead: Yeah. and IOW was also full of Chris making quips here and there and stopping and starting songs...I know some of it was funny, but yeah. the thing that also pissed me off was that the girl they got up on stage, had pushed in at the front row just before they came on. grrrrrr. Do I sound bitter? I just wanted to hear something like Everything's Not Lost or Trouble. :disappointed: I was thinking how I would like to bump into Jonny, hand him a guitar and just ask him to play me a song. I'll buy some lottery tickets too....:sneaky:
  12. Oh.... don't worry. Warning Sign used to be my favourite favourite faaaavourite song, so I would be singing/screeching along anyway haha! Might be :bigcry: as well!
  13. i might have saved the pic of Guy by accident... hehe :sneaky:
  14. I'm in the same block as you and on my own ....so maybe I'll come by to say hi.... or to jump around in the aisle at the back...haha! :nice:

I'm right with you. The main reason I have bought tickets to these gigs is in the hope of hearing old stuff. I don't wanna go on about this...but at the IOW I waited all day in the sun at the front for them. It was a great gig.... but...I was truly hoping to hear more old stuff..... Trouble for instance. but it was another X&Y fest. It would be my dream also to hear Daylight live, Marisa. Hey...lets all be pessimists, thinking they won't play these things...then maybe they will surprise. I would actually DIE if they played Spies though. Given up on the hope of Warning Sign!!! I think it would be great if they completely missed Fix You off.... hahaha... piss off all the 'one hit wonder' kind of people in the audience.
  17. You say exactly what I'm thinking......I thought it was everyone getting it wrong when they were discussing it last night. Still cant believe I'm gonna be in a random seat and not down in the thick of the standing area near to the guys :/ Add my name too. crazyduckette
  18. Awwwh I know, when I think back, Im like....was it necessary? hahaha but 2 of those were festivals, and 1 London date was free, cos a friend won a competition. They were all great....I was front row for 7 of them  Go mad to Like Eating Glass for me! and have an awesome time at the festival. hehehe :nice: talk to you soon!
  19. Yeah, get near the front! although Bloc Party gigs get very violent during Helicopter  I went to see them 10 times last year.....I know, I know... a bit excessive!!! 6 times in London over the year, once in Reading, once in Brighton, once at Glastonbury and once at Live Earth. You'll love them live.... its greeeeeat :)
  20. You won't be disappointed!!!! Especially when they play "She's Hearing Voices" Kele usually jumps into the crowd for that one as well. ;)
  21. ^It works for Glasto!!! I think it should be done that way too.
  22. Just as I suspected.... See holding back tickets and selling more now....
  23. Jonny & Chris love is alive and kicking :dead: I LOVE the photo of Guy falling from the roof..... how'd they do that?!? Its amazing.... :)
