  1. ha! i love it!
  2. - Forrest Gump (when jenny dies) - Philadelphia (the whole damn thing) - Dancer in the Dark (the ending is brutal) close calls: - Saving Private Ryan (i didn't even like this movie that much, but i didn't want the guy at the end to die after all that) - Cast Away (i almost cried about A FUCKING VOLLEYBALL. WHAT THE HELL? also, what's with tom hanks?)
  3.   time to get this back on track.
  4. i actually heard god put a smile on a college radio station a couple weeks ago, but them being a college radio station, they have more than 25 songs on their playlist, and they aren't bound to playing only top 40 singles or something similarly stupid like every commercial radio station in the world. :P
  5. i say no because its success was built upon the success of parachutes, which made people anticipate the new one more than they would if coldplay were just one more no name band.
  6. my song of the day is "Narcolepsy" by Ben Folds Five, which i think just might be my favorite song ever.
  7. just finished Cave In - New Moon
  8. i think calvin and hobbes played a major part in the development of my sense of humor when i was growing up... i used to read that religiously. wait for my dad to get home with the paper, rip out the comics, read calvin, then trash the rest. (now i have all the books, so if i want i can read two years' worth of comics in a single day)
  9. tom lm sorry to hear!! bahhh why dont you want phil to know? phil b? no, my friend's name is phil, he's one of the many people in the world named phil that aren't phil from this board. :P
  10. either way i can't imagine how that's a good thing :P
  11. yeah, that way normal people would know who to avoid. :P :D what makes me patriotic? nothing on the exterior, because i refuse to be exploited to let people know that i'm an american, but inside i feel proud of where i live, despite the fact that i'm apparently politically incompatible with at least 60% of the people who live here. i just hate how so many "pro-america" rallies and the often-voiced idea that "true patriots" should always support their government in a time of war and whatnot have made me come to view the american flag as a symbol of power and military strength instead of freedom and justice, the ideas it should provoke. (that's why it's not next to my name when i post, incidentally) i think that sentence is too long to make sense.
  12. yeah, what she said!
  13. i only have one single, because i hate paying 8 bucks for a cd with three songs on it, one of which i already have on the album. so most of them i have downloaded and/or burned.
