  1. Screw it, I'll just go there myself. Nah, I'd get bored after about five minutes.
  2. I was thinking Limp Bizkit. They tend to have some pretty irritable fans.
  3. Said the B-52's: "There's a moon in the sky It's called the moon!" They weren't exactly known for their lyrical prowess, I don't think. :P
  4. We should try to convince him somehow to go to the board of somebody we all hate and bother them.
  5. I saw the KenJen drinking game. (I'm a frequent reader of Slate  )
  6. I'm going with Bono. He's the only person in the world who could wear those blue sunglasses while he shakes hands with the pope and not look stupid.
  7. Alberto's "friend" seems to spend a lot of time on Alberto's computer.
  8. I seriously had no clue who you were, because you changed your avatar, your name, your flag, and your signature. :P
  9. So Joyce is now RoWaN. Well that clears up some confusion.
  10. His soundtrack score was a bit of a snoozer, though. :P But yes, Jonny is awesome. (I still think the greatest guitarist around right now is Doug Martsch from Built to Spill, though :P )
  11. Sunny Day Real Estate - "The Shark's Own Private Fuck"
  12. I guess the best thing to do aside from boiling them would be to clean them off with some lemon oil on a rag or something.
  13. Now I'm curious about what I've said that might be considered "wise," but I'll just take the compliment since that's all I'm ever likely to get from Thom. :P And honestly, I've never really had a problem with anybody here other than that moron Alberto and people who spam the board and leave. I've had my disagreements, but I hold no grudges. :P
  14. He probably would have won "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" in about five minutes.
  15. Question: how would you go about receiving physical mail from them (like the guys who have gotten money and stuff)? Because I sure as hell wouldn't want to give any address away to them that would actually work. :P
  16. I tend to change my bass strings about once every two years. But that's because whenever they're dirty I just boil them in some water and slap 'em back on. And also because I don't really play a whole lot of bass anymore. Piano is too much fun. :P
  17. I have no idea where to find that jacket, but for $13.27, I might do a little Googling. :P
  18. To Mr. Ten Dollar Outfit: Yes, this would be the space for shameless self-promotion. Unfortunately, though, you haven't done a single thing yet that would endear yourself to anybody here (and thus get them to listen to your music over the 900 other unheard of bands that are being thrown at us all the time). As a fellow aspiring musician, I sympathize, but as a member of this message board, I feel compelled to point out the following: 1. Your first post here was to promote your band (which suggests that you're obviously more interested in getting hits for your website than in making any friends here). 2. Your second post is snobby, condescending, and insulting to one of the most popular members here. (Granted, he wasn't what you'd call "polite," but you're the one trying to make a sale here, not him). 3. You have yet to post in a thread outside of this one (which reaffirms #1). So take this how you will, but that's why I'm not going to listen to your band, or most of the other ones spammed here. (I've tried ignoring them, I've tried listening to them and mostly being bored by them, and now I'm trying this). :P
  19. Oh my God, do the Allman Brothers still exist? :stunned: They've had some nice songs, but I've never really been a big fan, personally. :P
  20. You know what's sad? I'll never get back the two minutes of my life that I wasted reading the five pages of idiotic drivel that this thread contains. :dozey: Oh, I'd only waste them anyway. :P
  21. Given the choice between Thelma (Geena Davis) and Louise (Susan Sarandon), I'm definitely going with Thelma. :P Oh yeah, also, this thread is fucking idiotic.
  22. Having seen the mental health ward of a hospital before (for undisclosed reasons :sneaky: ), I can say that it bears little resemblance to what I saw in that movie. But then again, the movie was made 30 years ago, and was set even earlier than that. :P
  23. I like bridges... a few weeks ago I walked across the biggest bridge in the state (it was the longest in the world when it was built, and the middle is something like 150 feet over the water) just for kicks. :P I was getting a bit nervous when the big trucks drove by and the whole thing would start shaking, though. I don't do well with ski-lifts, though.
