Who smokes on here ??
I smoke cloves sometimes, specifically Djarum Blacks, because they're SOOOOO much better than cigarettes. It's like smoking a cinnamon stick or something. But they're also extremely unhealthy and very expensive, so I don't do it too often. I would never do it in a car or inside anywhere, because I know how annoying that is.

Songs that Sound Similar
Yeah, seriously... could they have ripped that off any more blatantly? Here's some: - The Beatles' "Ob-la-di Ob-la-da" and Offspring's "Why Don't You Get a Job" or whatever that song was called - The Beatles' "Sexy Sadie" and Radiohead's "Karma Police" - Radiohead's "I Will" sounds like a hybrid of the Beatles' "She's So Heavy" and "Because." Let's see if I can come up with any that don't involve the Beatles... Eric Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight" and Lionel Richie's "Stuck on You" use the same guitar lick. And I just noticed an embarrassing similarity between a song I wrote a few weeks ago and Belle and Sebastian's "Fox in the Snow."

Can you have another fav tune off all time
Yeah, whenever somebody asks me what my favorite song is, I either list them by genre, or just start naming my favorite songs until they tell me to stop. Right now: "Rhapsody in Blue" by Gershwin :D

I saw Bono today...
Max Roach was supposed to be there too, but fewer people know who he is (jazzheads would appreciate it, though) and he couldn't make it because he was sick.

Negative signs
I'm taking my one required math course right now, and hoping to barely squeeze by with a passing grade so I never have to take math again. I really wish I'd taken it last year when it might have been a little fresher on my mind from high school.

I saw Bono today...
Yeah, Bono is probably one of the greatest people in the world of music right now. He uses his fame for a good cause, and he has enough of a self-effacing sense of humor that he never seems pompous or self-important. Plus he's just so damn cool. How many people could stand there in a cap and gown with those blue sunglasses and look awesome? Another thing very few people could pull off: the first thing he said when they introduced him was "Hello. My name is Bono, and I am a rock star."

Negative signs
For the subraction, imagine it on a number line. You're at -7, and you want to subtract another -7. If you were just subtracting 7, you'd move "left" on the number line to -14, but since you're subtracting a negative number, you move the opposite direction, back to 0. The same principle applies to the multiplication. I may sound like I'm talking to a baby, but I actually had to explain this to another college-age person a few weeks ago. :stunned: Also, the double-negative thing works too. :P

I saw Bono today...
He was the commencement speaker at University of Pennsylvania's graduation ceremony, and I figured I'd go since it's only a few blocks away, it was free and I knew somebody graduating from there this year. Anyway, I must say that even out of the rock and roll setting, he's a very charismatic person, you just knew as soon as he entered the building. He also had a good sense of humor (spending the first part of his speech wondering how on earth he was qualified to recieve an honorary masters degree from an Ivy League school, and later talking about how he was "the worst scourge upon this earth: a rock star with a cause."), but also had some good points and inspiring words about America, third world poverty, and life in general. I was very much impressed, and if that's as close as I ever come to seeing U2 live again, I'll be satisfied. :D

Can you have another fav tune off all time
Sure, then if somebody says "what about Bohemian Rhapsody" just say "I changed my mind." :P
