  1. You could be right. Debs Wild answered me on the old Coldplay.com forum and recommended that I believe Coldplay's website over any others. So, I am going to think positive for once and believe that they will be in Orlando in November! LiveNation has been changing its listings quite a bit today, but Orlando hasn't shown up yet.
  2. The tour dates seem to still be in the process of being updated. I asked Debs Wild on the old Coldplay.com forum what site I should believe, and she recommended that we watch the Coldplay site for the best information. LiveNation has changed its listing for Coldplay shows again, and Philly is back on June 29 now, btw. However, there are some shows listed on Coldplay's site that are not showing up on LiveNation yet (like Orlando in November). So, I recommend taking Debs advice, because she's never let me down before, and watch the Coldplay site for the latest concert information. Sorry for the earlier freak out, but I have expensive plane tickets to Philly for June 29 because I don't have much hope for Coldplay to add North Carolina to their tour schedule, at least this year. So, I was heartbroken when that concert was being relisted on LiveNation for a July date!
  3. Basically, it's not cool to like Coldplay, and the critics aren't brave enough to say or write anything uncool. It's as simple as that. If the "brainless, uneducated" masses like Coldplay, then the "elite, educated" critics certainly cannot possibly agree. The critics already know the two first singles from VLV have been a hit, so they know the "brainless, uneducated masses" are going to be buying the new CD. Therefore, VLV has to be shit, and so the critics ramble on trying to justify a harsh opinion that in reality is unjustifiable. When the critics and Perez Hilton are on the same page, you know something is off! I pray the band can say fuck the critics and mean it.
  4. Thought this was interesting: http://idolator.com/395254/the-british-papers-rush-to-start-the-coldplay-backlash The British Papers Rush To Start The Coldplay Backlash From time to time, we like to round up the all-important, all-summarizing last sentences of the biggest new-music reviews. Today's special edition of the Last Word features the immediate British press reaction to the new Coldplay, Vida La Vida, which leaked Wednesday night and is out June 17: • "I can imagine Chris pulling at his hair as the band perfected every single second of Viva La Vida. They set out to make a musical equivalent of a work of art—and succeeded. They've come a long way since singing about the colour yellow." [The Sun] • "But for those who are prepared to take Coldplay at face value, to presume unless there is evidence to the contrary that this an honest collection of songs from a band doing what they know best, Viva La Vida is a bright, warm, rich and strikingly memorable album." [The Telegraph] • "At its best, however, Viva la Vida poses an interesting question: do you need to be cool or experimental if you can write songs that carry the listener along regardless of their reservations—indeed, almost despite them?" [The Guardian] • "The purported passing of their former style, however, has been greatly exaggerated, though whether the attempt here to chart a new musical course will lead anywhere as imposing remains to be heard. This is pretty average stuff." [The Independent]
  5. Coldplay's tour manager & website management company, and LiveNation's website management ALL NEED TO BE FIRED. The two sites have different information, list dates that conflict with each other, and in general just G.D. SUCK.
  6. I posted this shitty information last night, but no one cared. http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=46202 Atlanta show has not changed, btw.
  7. It certainly doesn't look like the Orlando show is going to happen to me. The Coldplay.com page looks like it needs to be updated. When you click on a link from Coldplay.com, it takes you to LiveNation. Miami is listed on LiveNation and also has a date that tickets go on sale (June 21, I think). Orlando has disappeared and Philly is listed for July 25 now, which is the same day the Pemberton Festival starts, so I have no idea why the hell that change was made.

  9. Both Oakland and Sacramento are listed now as CANCELLED. Philly has changed to July 25, Orlando has disappeared, etc, etc, etc...........
  10. The question of the day and we'll NEVER be given an answer. Oh, fuck. This is BAD NEWS FOR ME. http://www.livenation.com/search/intermediateSearch/searchstring/coldplay/collection/events/offset/0/hits/50/notlucky/1 New tour dates. Philly is not the only change. FUCK IT ALL.
  11. http://www.livenation.com/search/intermediateSearch/searchstring/coldplay/collection/events/offset/0/hits/50/notlucky/1 Read the new tour dates for yourself at the above link. I'm too upset to point out and copy all the changes here.:cry:
  12. bump :) Alright Coldplayers, who's game to hand out some flyers and welcome Coldplay back in style? PM ColdplayJoe if you are an able volunteer!
  13. Do you know who Debs Wild even IS?
  14. Debs Wild clearly stated on the old Coldplay.com forum that the song heard on Grey's Anatomy is/was Death and All His Friends.
  15. Exactly. Debs has always been a source of very reliable information. If she clearly stated that the song on Grey's Anatomy was not Lovers in Japan, then I see no reason to doubt her. Granted, she has not said what the title of the track is, but on the old Coldplay.com forum the consensus is that the track is Death and All His Friends, and Debs has not corrected anyone except a poster who said the track on Grey's Anatomy was actually Lover's in Japan, not Death and All His Friends. Do you think perhaps some of the track that was on Grey's Anatomy is the Escapist? Isn't it supposed to directly follow Death and All His Friends on the cd? I'm not trying to be argumentative, really. It's just that I see no reason for Debs to be posting incorrect information on the old Coldplay.com forum. She obviously felt she should correct the person who thought the track was LIJ..... And I'm sure Debs has heard the new cd. At any rate, like I said before, in a few weeks we'll all know for 100% sure what the song on Grey's Anatomy was.... I'll stop arguing the point now!
  16. Hopefully Debs will confirm the track title, but she did specifically say it was not Lovers in Japan.... And, Debs is definitely the one I would trust for an accurate answer.... Guess it's not all that important really, and we'll all know the answer for sure in a few weeks anyway. :\
  17. And from the Grey's Anatomy website: http://abc.go.com/primetime/greysanatomy/index?pn=musicguide#t=86553 TITLE: Death And All His Friends PERFORMER: Coldplay So, it appears the song is Death and All His Friends most probably.......

  20. Damn scalpers and damn Coldplay's tour management. I'm really getting rather pissed. No presale tickets for FANS, no organizing volunteers for Oxfam, no Q&A or any type of communcation on the new website & in the end no way to feel connected to the band at all. If you look at the link above listing MSG tickets for sale, you'll see seats being sold for over $1000 each. Now how in the hell is that better than possibly a few fan tickets being sold last tour? Where's the proof that even happened?? Did any of us sell our fan presale tickets last time?!? I doubt it. Whoever is managing this tour is full of absolute f*ckshit and I'd like to be able to tell them that to their G.D. face.
  21. Yes, I agree with you. Sounds like and looks like Chris is saying "armor".
  22. Life in Technicolor briefly leaked on the internet and then on this site a few days ago, but the links have since been removed. Some people are still finding it through a google search. But, a video of the band performing the song in their studio will eventually be revealed on the Coldplay site when enough people sign up for the free concert tickets. So, we'll all be able to legally see it soon. Lost (acoustic) is the B-side to the Violet Hill single released in Germany, and you can find links to download that song in the Multimedia section of the Coldplaying.com forum.
