  1. All quite normal in the cycle of human relationships under pressure. And what pressure, and what a spotlight to have it under! But all's good now so bring on the good times :)
  2. One clear warning sign's that you try to slip at least one Coldplay reference in everytime you talk or write...
  3. Many thanks folks. I was dreading the whole because the snippet we had before wasn't very promising out of context, so I'm extremely pleased with this, in fact I think it's great! Very interesting - quite fractured, bizarre and psychadelic. Evokes the Beatles yet again imo. I still think they may have missed a trick not making the epic story-driven vid that the song almost demands, but without taking that route they couldnn't really have bettered this. :)
  4. A very interesting article - not least the comparison with the Beatles, which isn't made often enough imo. Many thanks for posting!
  5. I think I read somewhere that EMI had requested the removal of all links. They're quite clearly chasing this leak all over the web, but as soon as the song or vid are removed from one set of places, they pop up at others! If you do a regular Google search (not Google video search) it's very easy to find indeed.
  6. So many possibilities! But, my take: 1) Square One 2) Violet Hill 3) Politik For the best opening ever to any gig, anywhere :-)
  7. I signed up twice for each concert on the same email address because I never got a confirmation on the first. The second one didn't come either! But a day later all was good and both arrived...I just confirmed one of each to be sure. Good luck - and there's plenty of time left!
  8. Thanks to everyone for posting the reviews, though it's really disheartening to read some terrible misconceptions and rotten old cliches trotted out time and time again. Some interesting and valid points in some of the reviews though. And reading them all just now just makes me want to go back and listen to the song again, so I will! My take on the song? It perplexed me at first, then I thought it was OK but far too short. After many more listens it very slowly and subtly caught up with me, to the point where I absolutely love it, and am just so excited to hear it live later this year. It's still too short, but it absolutely rocks. Right, off for another happy listen :)
  9. We're not allowed to post links here for this at the moment, but it's really easy to find on Google with the song name and band name.
  10. 1. Lost 2. Violet Hill 3. LIT 4. Viva La Vida 15. A Spell* * I think it's (hopefully!) safe to predict that of all the songs we'll be receiving this summer, this will be my least favourite.
  11. A great song - typical lovely melody from the lads. I was gutted that despite catching four of their shows on that tour they didn't play it once...really hope all the songs on the new album will be better supported than those on the last.
