Bah, this really reminds me of something (like most of the album!) but I can't think what it is, how annoying... Not as immediate as some of the others, but really comes into focus towards the end. This probably gets my vote for 'song to swing in a hammock to on a tropical beach' for the time being!

As someone who's heard the whole album now in drips and drabs I have to say all power to you guys - I'm jealous of what you've all got to look forward to! If you have the strength to hold off DO SO!! I was weak, and once I'd heard one track I had to hear them all over the last week or two. That was one way to enjoy it - little by little (till today lol) but you have the chance to do it a very special way indeed - rushing home from the shop with the real cd and hearing it all at once. All I can say is: have a stiff drink before you listen to it if you can, it'll help! :D

I absolutely adore this already, along with LiJ, Yes and, surprisingly for me, 42. What a ruddy marvellous day this is!

I do think Lost? is the one I like more, but this is interesting at least. I'm loving LiJ more than I thought I would after just hearing the acoustic. I got rather emotional I must say listening to that (after about ten seconds actually ha).

I hear you! Perhaps Lion King 2: Justin's Pride :D There are bits of the album where it sounds produced for the sake of it a little bit, and I hear a few more here, but it's early days, so it may just need time.

Anyone who was disappointed with the epilogue should hunt out an interview Jo gave after the book was published which reveals a lot of information and back story that really should have been in the book! I'm a huge Pratchett fan, and have read almost all of them. It must be very hard for non-native English speakers to read in English because some of the jokes and themes are so complex! Did anyone see the Sky film of The Colour of Magic? I thought it was rather good :)

A bakery doesn't have to be any bigger than a large house. And if it's a very old bakery then it could very well be the first floor of a small house! Chris did say it was along a little alleyway, didn't he? And adjacent to (not opposite) a school? Now painted white? And there's a restaurant attached I think (on the Q show he said someone had tried to break through the restaurant to get to their equipment iirc)? Ah well, I'm going to go round the area fairly soon anyway. I've been meaning to anyway just to see Violet Hill, plus there are some nice shops around there that I've wanted to check out for a while - some food places as well as the charity shops that Coldplay, amongst others, donate their clothes to :) If there are only four schools then I'm quite happy to spend a day pottering round and hope to chance on the place. If that's all the info I've got I'll wait till the band get back from the US (anyone know when that is?) If we can narrow it down I can go up there in a day or two ;)

Haha, you're giving me ideas now - I have quite a few friends with Osaka sons - I reckon if I fly a few of them in for the gig they'd have to let us all backstage 'but guys I did it for you - you were dreaming of Osaka sons'!! :D

If it is then I'll be delighted! I love all the new tunes, very impressed so far, but LiJ is the best of the lot for me so far, an incredibly tender song.

We were quite far back so there wasn't much to look at really...except me (insert embarrassed blushing smilie here, which I haven't worked out how to do yet!) The encore later that night for Massive Attack was even better as I'd had plenty of beers by then, and lost what self-consciousness I'd had :p
