I went to school in Tonbridge! I was there the other day and so many memories of where I used to hang out when I bunked off haha. I quite fancy a drive past Tunbridge Wells, some lovely country pubs round there. Or down to the Ashdown Forest to play pooh sticks, but the mood I'm in I'd probably lose even playing myself lol

I tried that but the computer draws me back like I'm attached by a big piece of elastic! I need another strategy - it's a nice day I should take a long drive somewhere beautiful with the new album blaring, and go have a pub lunch....

This is killing me. I'm going to be so very disappointed when I don't win. December is too far away to offer consolation right now. I think I'll pop Everything's Not Lost on to cheer me up.

Me too! And I had a horrible shock a little while ago when this thread suddenly jumped from one post to four pages long. Clicking on the first page, it was full of people saying 'I've won!' Luckily shortly before collapsing I realised the thread had been merged with MSG for some reason. And no one's heard yet so we still have our chance :) Good luck everybody!

Perhaps the competition organisers are too busy listening to the leak to let us know?

What influences do you see in the new album? So far I've found the new album to wear its influences much more clearly on its sleeve than any of their previous works. What does everyone think? What have you spotted? What's particularly struck you? Just for starters from me, Chinese Sleep Chant sounds so much like My Bloody Valentine and some other classic indie bands they could probably sue. But...I'd never want them to...because I absolutely love it!! :)

I think I'm getting a Screamadelica-era Primal Scream vibe from this and I'm absolutely loving it!

I have decided to rename some of the tracks on my PC in Cedric's honour.
