Great work Chelsea!! :) I suggested on the main thread, and others liked the idea, that perhaps we could choose the seal ourselves, either from all of those submitted (and they are all excellent so far), or from a group of the most popular - say, five (just for example). I don't think this lessens the impact of the project as a whole myself - it just brings more variety and colour to the postcards as a whole I think (which is exactly what the band are all about themselves these days). Any thoughts? I post this again here because my original comment was probably lost among the hundreds of pages!! (And thus it's really a question about the suggestion :D)

Thanks so much for the comments guys, it's given me a lot to think about...:) I guess my problem is that VH's just such a 'cool' song. I think they either need some greater 'warmth' there to get the crowd jumping (Clocks? - not that I'm a big fan, but they'll always play it) , or something dramatic and deeply impressive (Square One or Politik fit the bill for me, but I'd love other suggestions).

I guess the wait makes it all the more exciting when the moment DOES strike (and not long now!!) You're due some of the awesome karma some of the rest of us have had already this year, so much so I think I'll try to book tix to your gigs too - they should be spectacular! :cool:

Not these online companies for London tickets (and other places?) I think it's to make it harder to sell them on ebay. Fair enough, but it troubles true fans, and the sites like ticketmaster and all the others are all scams of a kind themselves anyway.

I couldn't get along last week (and also delayed one plan because the Postcard project no longer needed my services) but now I'm determined - next week is the week!! Szonj and I are planning to get along there on Friday, and have some other spots in mind too on our tour - definitely Violet Hill, maybe even Camden. If anyone would like to join us they're very most welcome, please just get in touch by PM (or show an interest here) and we can have a chat about plans etc :) Unfortunately we can't plan for definite quite yet because Szonj's here in the UK for work, and doesn't know 100% if that day's possible for her, but that's our very-much-hoped for plan right now. Just putting this out to the masses :)

Absolutely!! I think we should be able to choose whichever one we like that includes the 'postcards from far away' message. They all get the message across, all are great, and it'd add a lot of colourful flavour to things.
