Why don't we wait until the new record comes out to see how relevant they still are or aren't. Which, imo, is a ludicrous claim to make in the first place. VLV wasn't that long ago. Going #1 in 36 countries doesn't sound like a band that's washed up to me.

The reviews kinda bother me. While they're all mostly positive, it seems like they're initially reluctant to give a compliment, but concede with comments like, "Oh, don't count them out just yet." Um.. ok. Wasn't planning on it. Say what you want about how their sound has changed over the years, their image, they've gone mainstream and whatever else.. their music still has substance. It still means something to them and it still resonates with people. And that, in my opinion, is always deserving of praise.

Awesome gig. The crowd was probably the most lively I've seen thus far on their festival run. And the guys gave all that energy and love right back.

People are still on the "they're divorcing" bandwagon? Christ. It's time to give it up.
