The promo was very nice! They called them the "World's Biggest Band." Yes, that's true!

Took the day off today, came downstairs just in time to see GMA showing a while bio of CP (they're on the show tomorrow)--all I could think was, "you better mention it's Chris' birthday tomorrow!

Had a random, really awful one about Chris and Gwyn. It was really whackadoo, I can't imagine where it came from--I dreamt they both got killed. I'm writing it down because that actually happening would be a complete disaster!

I don't need to see the kids, as that seems to bother both of them, but for them to pose together at the VF party would have been awesome, they are both so lovely to look at, I think a pic like that would have burned my eyes! I've tried to see the slideshow on the VF website, but it's not really working, anybody get a chance to view this? Any pics we should see?

I'm going to come here and look at it every ten minutes to keep my mood up!

Me three on the suit thing. I was perusing the computer about the Oscars and found the pic of him in the suit, and nearly fell off my chair. It made me so happy. Nothing like a tall, handsome member of my favorite band in a suit!

My heart leapt when I saw this picture! He's gorgeous in that suit! I was hoping he was there, I thought maybe this was the year they walked the red carpet together (since he's been so "gracious" to mention her lately). I really can't get over that suit!

I like it better. That shirt was so huge, I think I'll do a little of the same. Thanks for the idea!

The new GPASOYF is awesome. Every time they tweak this song it works for me. The techno version is my favorite. I'm also still in the IMP and Lost camp. I could see Fix You go. I know people love it, but it's done. Even Chris has said he wouldn't written it today.

Damn, they looked hot in their little video that went the nomination. And Chris was "on" during the press conference. Funny stuff!

And in each "land" the attendants are dressed in clothes from that album's era--Parachutes land they are wearing grubby tees and jeans and X&Y land they wear all black, etc!

OK, just finished watching in the States. My thoughts (if they mean anything): That Blur guy is really long-winded Who the heck is Ed Scheeren and is he going to be famous in the US, because I'm already tired of him No more Adele for a long while. Please. Now. Noel Gallagher sounded great, Chris on piano was even better That boy group that won was really obnoxious, I hope they go away really soon. I think that's about it!

Coldplay and cupcakes are two of my favorite things. Those are just exquisite, I love the ones with the lyrics.
