  1. Oh, I definitely will! :D One problem, though. The concert is going to be at an outdoor venue at the beginning of August in Austin, TX. At that time of year the high temperature regularly hits at or above 100 degrees F (38 degrees C). And I'm talking thick, humid, oppressive heat. When the concert starts in the evening the temp will have only droppped into the 90's. I know the last time David Gray came to Austin he played at the same place, so I guess he likes it - but it was earlier in the year. Why, oh why, couldn't they have chosen an indoor venue? :?

"There's no other way There's no other way All that you can do is watch them play..." I love that song! :D Let's see, before Coldplay, I was totally obsessed with U2. I had listened to any of their CD's everyday for like a year straight, since I had seen them live in concert. They are still one of my favorite bands, but now I rotate in other bands in the ol' CD player.
  3. AHHH, I completely agree!! A while back I was watching some TV documentary and there was this guy on there that looked totally like an 'average Joe' (not to say that's a bad thing) but as soon as he opened his mouth and revealed his Scottish accent - I was like HELLO! Dang, why don't I know any Scottish blokes here in Texas!? :x ;) *woke up only to see the Coldplay poster above the computer with a certain Mr. Berryman - begins to feel lightheaded again*
  4. Oh, yes, absolutely! :D I saw Idlewild in concert a few months back and before the band came out there was this roadie setting up the gear that not only was incredibly gorgeous but also spoke in the most sexy Scottish accent. :o :o *faints*
  5. Hey Victoria! So does your son like Coldplay?
  6. Ooo, I like the Japanese language! My sister can speak it, and I'm very jealous of that. :-x :D

You don't wanna know how I would pronounce it :D Well, now you've got me curious...please tell me! :-D In German we pronounce the e's like the e in bed (for example). So it would be something like Reh-Nah-Teh. Is that comprehensible? :-o Yeah, that's what I thought! I'm half German, have taken a couple of German classes, and have visited Germany before - but I've lived in America all my life and therefore I've "American-ized" the pronounciation of my name ever since I could remember. People over here have mispronounced my name every way possible, the most popular being Reh-NATE (rhymes with plate).
  8. I have the DVD also! Ah, it's sooooo wonderful! :D :D :D Yahoooey! Think Tank tomorrow for me! I had better be able to find the special edition in the store so I don't have to order it online (thus making me wait even longer).

  10. I've been up really high before and have had this strange urge to jump - the fantasy of free flying, I guess. But, yeah, when the time comes to really do it, I'd probably have second thoughts - it's only natural - but I'd make myself go through with it. :D

I agree with you there. The thought of losing any of my pets terrifies me and makes me real sad.

  13. Hmmm, let's see... handling or being near wild animals, even things like snakes. Also jumping off of or out of high things, as long as I'm tethered to something, got a parachute, or there's water below me. Truth be told, I've never actually done that, but I have absolutely no fear of it - it's on my to-do list! :D I sure there's more - must think...

Now before you think I have no love for Will, believe me, that's NOT the case! I couldn't get one decent shot of him because a monitor was in my way.

Some of you may have seen these on the official board a long time ago. I took them at the Austin concert on January 29, 2003.
