I'm so glad Josh finally got the boot. He shouldn't have lasted as long as he did. Yeah, Carmen was definitley nothing special at all - she basically fit the "look" of a pop star. One thing that bothered me about her singing was that vibratto (?) thing she did with her voice - she sounded like a sheep at times. I think the three that are left all deserve to be there. I've got a little bit of a conflict here. I like Clay and I'm pulling for him to win. Like Kelly Clarkson last year, he's never been in the bottom three or two (so far), so he's got that going for him. The problem is, I sort of agree with a comment Simon made about him. I think Clay's got an amazing voice for the musical theater - like on Broadway or something. I really don't see him following the path that is being carved out for Kelly - the role of a pop star. He really has the potential of being a star in the theater. In a way I feel winning American Idol could limit that potential. Of course, all this assuming he has any interest in musical theater. Ah, I'm rambling. :oops: Kimberly, Ruben, and Clay all are terrific singers and any of them deserve to win. :)

The CD in the red fabric cover is Think Tank - it has all the same songs as the other standard version. The enhanced part is live performance video footage of four songs - Ambulance, Crazy Beat, Out Of Time, and Good Song (although it says Caravan) - that was recorded in the MTV studios in London. The book to the CD contains not only the printed lyrics but also Damon's hand scribbled lyrics, notes, and drawings. I believe the standard version of Think Tank also has some kind of enhanced feature, but I'm not sure what it is since I didn't buy that one. Both CD's have the hidden track Me White Noise at the beginning of the album. Now, open up that CD!! :D :D

My best friend had a boyfriend that was exactly my type of guy. I had more in common with him than she did. They then had a bad break-up. I never even thought of trying to get with him then - I would never do that to my friend. Even if they left things on good terms it would be too wierd for me to go out with him.

Well, since you say the pictures above look a lot like your pets, I say your pets are so incredibly cute! Whoa, you taught your cockatiel some Coldplay lyrics?! Cool! It has always amazed me how some birds can mimic the human language. It's kinda wierd to hear them speak and realize it's coming from a bird. Boggles the mind...

The guy in my avatar is Joel Hodgson from one of the funniest TV shows ever, Mystery Science Theater 3000. He and two robots (puppets actually) sat in front of a movie screen and made fun of old, terrible movies. A little insight into my mind... :D

Ah, I immediately loved every single track on Think Tank with my first listen. It's such a great CD! I really like the Moroccan influences. Absolutley brilliant bass work by Alex! I can't say that enough. Damon sounds fantastic and Dave's drumming is top-notch as usual! I got the limited edition in the red hard book cover. Me White Noise is a nice little hidden track. I haven't yet heard the version that was floating around the net with Damon singing. I've read some people say that one is better than what's on Think Tank. The four live performance videos are a fantastic addition! This one will be in my CD player for a long time! THANK YOU BLUR!!! :D :D
