EXCELLENT CHOICE DEAR!!...welcome to the gang of Champs ;) Yippee! I feel so honored and I promise to uphold my duties of loving the Scottish tongue (oooo, that doesn't sound right, does it?  ). :D :D

whats your favorite game in general ever
Watching or playing some first-person perspective games makes me motion sick at times. I hate that! I like some old school NES, like Joust, T&C Surf Designs, Bubble Bobble, and NARC (lol - That's a funny game! You're a narcotics agent that goes around shooting and busting drug dealers, pimps, psycho clowns, guerilla marijuana growers, etc.) I also like the Super Mario games, the Mario Party games, Oddworld Abe's Exodous and Abe's Odessey for Playstation, Jedi Power Battles, and some fighting games. There's more, too.

Yes! Girls & Boys! That's such a great live song! The crowd always gets into it and Damon's jumping all over the place. Speaking of Damon... :D

Ooo, I heard they put on an excellent show at Coachella! Here's a pic I took in Austin during the South By Southwest Music Festival back in March:

I've been spending my moolah a little too much lately, acting as if one of my favorite bands isn't releasing an eagerly awaited CD next week. Sheesh! I've got it under control now and put aside the necessary funds. :D And there's two versions of Think Tank that'll be released - the regular one and a limited special edition. I've read the special edition has live video footage of the band playing Ambulance, Out Of Time, Crazy Beat, and Good Song, as well as a booklet with lyrics and song ideas, all packaged in an embossed hardback case. Of course, this one will be more expensive than the regular CD version.

Well, hello there!
Heya Jassen, Nadine, Amelie, and Jo - thanks for welcoming me! :D :D BTW, I'm Renate! This board's so great! Jassen - I take it you're a Turin Brakes fan? Woohoo! I love them! I'm going to see them in concert in August, opening for David Gray. Can't wait! I can't stop listening to The Optimist LP and Ether Song!

Punk'd
Ah, it's so funny to see celebrities squirm and get mad. Actually, right now I liking all these hidden camera shows - Punk'd, Jamie Kennedy Experience, and Scare Tactics. Hilarity at its finest!

THE DAILY SHOW bandwagon
Such a hilarious and witty show! I miss Steve Carell, though. He's not on the show much anymore.

They need to hurry up and put the entire series on DVD!

American Idol
Yeah, I mean Josh's face - the way he scrunches it and flaps his jaw. He should've been kicked out of there a long time ago.

Ether Song at no.54
I'd like to add my name to the list of Turin Brakes lovers! :D
-
American Idol
It's completely insane that Josh wasn't kicked off this week! What's wrong with you, America! And another thing, is anyone else bothered by his facial expressions when he sings? Ugh, put a bag over his head.

What are your most anticipated CDs...??
U2, Coldplay, and Blur!

Think Tank comes out May 6th in the U.S., so I'm guessing it'll be the same for Canada. May 5th in the U.K. WOOHOO! :D :D

Holy smokes!! That is so cool!!!!! Hehe! Yep, we've both got quite a little collection of SW tees! We've met something like 30 SW actors and crew members - and there's SO many more out there!

Nah, we're not twins, but we get that a lot. I'm a year and a half older than her. Throw my older sister into the mix and we sometimes get mistaken for triplets!

How early......?
Oh yeah, 8:30am is early! The show didn't start until like 8pm. Most people started showing up after 12pm. Like I said, I didn't want to take any chances. When I saw U2 in November 2001, I got in line at 5:30am and was 92nd in line! :o (The people at the front of that line had been there since the day before.) Now, I knew there wouldn't be that kind of demand at Coldplay, but I figured since they were in my hometown and I had nothing else to do, I might as well sit in line and secure an awesome spot right by the stage for a concert experience I'll never forget. I would just kick myself if I had missed that kind of opportunity. I mean, there's plenty of room along the stage, so even if you're further back in line you'll still get a great spot - front, second, third rows, etc. I had a fun time hanging out all day in line - met quite a few other Coldplay fans!
