I'm totally serious. KROQ in Los Angeles (http://www.kroq.com) had a call-in contest all this weekend. I'm still shaking....I still can't believe it.

Well, I keep trying and trying to win those radio station passes for "Cocktails with Coldplay." I've called nearly every announcement since noon and I've been caller 12 twice and caller 11 once. They're looking for caller 20. Send me winning vibes, ok? I need to meet Will this time...I even have my husband calling for me. I love my husband, we've been married 20, yes 20, years, but there is just something about Will...you all know what I mean. sigh.

They're looking for caller 20 all weekend. I HAVE to win (yeah, me and 100 of my closest "friends")...I'm dying here, lol. I need to meet Will. Wonder if they do the contest overnight too?

I wish I was going to Wembley, Sept 18 is my birthday - what a great present that would be...but it's a bit of a ways from home in Southern California! Our local radio station is doing Coldplay give-aways this weekend, "Cocktails with Coldplay" before the show on July 19. I'm doing my very best to be caller 20 all weekend long. I would just die if I met him (and of course, my 13 year old son who is going to this concert with me, would be just mortified).

Can't stand to see Will on Page 2. And in Will news, I just got tickets to see him again in July, twice! Two shows in two days...I can't wait.

Yes, they are expensive, but my husband and I are going to see Jimmy Buffett at Verizon in May. Our seats are in Sec. 8, also, and the face value is $136 PER ticket! Add in the stupid fees, and it was $318 for the two of us. What is really annoying about livenation, is they automatically tack on $6 PER PERSON for parking!

For Irvine, no Sec 1, 2 or 3 available for presale :\ I didn't want to chance it, so I kept trying and grabbed the Sec 8, Row AA (1st row) tix when they came up. I'm ok with that.

Whew...how stressful...but I got seats. I really wanted Sec 1, 2 or 3, but there were no available, of course. I used 2 computers and both presale passwords and just kept clicking try again...the first seats available were in the upper 8 section, but i wanted closer. The seating chart has Sec 1, 2, and 3 in the front. The Loge (middle) sections are 4-8, Terrace seats are Sec 9-14, then the lawn. I kept retrying over and over and finally got two tickets in Sec. 8, Row AA (1st row), first 2 seats on the inside aisle. I'm good with that for now. i'll try and see what comes up during the general sale on Monday, too.

For GA pit tickets, they assign a row and seat number for inventory purposes. There are no seats. Have fun in the pit!

I'm happy with the E2 seats. But I had several opportunities to get GA, but I didn't know where they were. I've been to Galaxy games at Home Depot, and it's a huge place, so I'm hoping the GA section isn't too big. Every concert, I get a little closer to the stage.

I would love to make it to Chula Vista, but my husband is rolling his eyes at yet another Coldplay concert. I will definitely get tix for Irvine, since I'm only 10 minutes away from the amphitheater. Let's hope I get decent seats tomorrow during the presale. My seats for Home Depot are ok, Sec. E2, just a few rows behind GA.

Backstreetchix - your sig says July 18 at the Honda Center...don't you mean Home Depot Center? Wouldn't want you showing up at the wrong venue the night of the concert. ;)

I don't think it's lipsynched, but there is a delay between the audio and video.

I don't know exactly. I know for the Carson, livenation had a password and kroq had a different password. I had two computers and two accounts logged in and I logged into ticketmaster for the kroq password and to livenation with that password.

Loved the part when Will said his children were very well behaved. At 3 years old and 10 months old, those are the easy ages! Just wait until they are teens ;-) I'm glad his family can travel with him...so sweet. Thanks for posting that video. I love hearing his speaking voice...

I got the presale password in my email today from kroq. Go to livenation.com and password is technikroq. All the info there was about the contest is: WANT TO MEET COLDPLAY? Keep listening to KROQ for your tickets to see Coldplay at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater and your chance to meet the band backstage! I've been listening but all I've heard so far is the 9inch Nails giveaway.

Last week, I ordered the Viva coffee mug and the butterfly tshirt. The mug came in 3 days - still waiting for the tshirt. Guess I'll be patient...

I just bought the butterfly shirt online...just waiting for it to get here. I also bought the Viva coffee mug, and the red washed right off! I need to contact the maker!
