21 days until I get to meet Coldplay!

Lucy, Love your story. Lucky you! I won a call-in radio contest here in March, and get to meet them for "Cocktails with Coldplay" before their concert here in Irvine, California, on July 19. I know how you feel about Coldplay Karma - it was a pretty miserable weekend here, due to some things that happened with my daughter. I called in to the radio station every single hour when I heard the cue. I got through so many times, but was never the right caller. Finally, on Sunday afternoon, I was the correct caller. I about died. My husband was standing with me when I called that time, and was shouting in the background when i was talking with the dj. He must have thought I totally lost it. lol But I absolutely cant wait for the concert. It's on a Sunday night, and I am also going to see them at a different nearby venue Saturday night. It will be my 5th and 6th times seeing them :)

Three weeks! It's been a looong time since I bought my tickets way back on February 20!

Signed it, and I'll fly out to the concert, too. My two favorite things, Hawaii, and Coldplay. :)

Exactly a month from today! And a month from tomorrow, I get to meet them :laugh3:

Aww...I read somewhere that Chris is 6'2", and Jonny looks about the same height. Geez, if Guy is that tiny, I'm going to tower over him when I meet them in 34 days. I'm 5'10" and my husband is 6'2". I hope we can take pics with all of them. Were there other contest winners in with you?

Good luck with it, I'm sure you'll do just fine. So what questions did you decide to ask? And you wrote them down so you won't forget. Does anyone have to approve the questions first? Do you have someone to videotape you so you can post it for us all? :) And enjoy the show!

Yay! Congratulations! I also won a radio contest to meet them, but it's not for another 39 days - my promotion is for Cocktails with Coldplay. And even though it's not a formal interview, I'm still nervous about not looking like a complete idiot. There's a video interview that other radio listeners did with Will over on the Will thread, so maybe you could watch that to get some ideas. I'm not sure how to link you, but it's not hard to find. I'm seriously dying...I'm so freaking excited, I can't stand it. And of course, I'll be coming back to post pictures, and video - or at least all that's fit to post :wink3:

Well, Marie, you *know* I am going to meet him in July. and...well you know... um, what happens backstage, stays backstage? right? right?? Or else it ends up on youtube. Or on the Will thread. That is if I can stop hyperventilating long enough to say something.

Ok, that's hilarious...there were a LOT of tweets to @coldplay at noon. If you type in @coldplay into the search box, you have go to back a lot of pages to get back to 12:00 (well, in Calfornia it was noon). I missed out on it, but they are all there. Way to go coldplayers.
