I finally figured out the time delay between BBC 1 live and California time. LOL I can't wait to hear Will speak. :) So it was a good interview?

Boo hoo :cry: :cry: :cry: I'd blocked this from my memory because I would so have been in Las Vegas for NYE. My mother in law lives there, but we will be in Hawaii for NYE this year :( Sigh. We were just there for Thanksgiving.

Coachella is April 15, 16, and 17.

I'm not a big festival lover anymore and Coachella is 3 days on a big field. But I may have to make an exception if they do go. It's about an hour away from me....Hell, everything is an hour away from me, either by car or plane :laugh3: But I'm not buying tickets until it's confirmed! Learned my lesson the hard way, the $160 hard way, with the American Music Awards!

Where do you live? I'm in South Orange County. While I love the warm weather, "It doesn't really feel like Christmas at all." And if we keep "waiting for the snow to fall," we'll be waiting a really long time.

Oh, and just for the record, all of you who are stuck in the snow... It is 80 degrees or 27C here today...her dress is perfect for the weather.

Maybe it's a cultural thing...Here in the US, teachers would correct student papers using a red pen to mark errors. So I was meaning that Will would use his red pen to make corrections to Chris's rubbish lyrics. :)

Wow. You're going to have a Coldplay hangover, and you know the cure for that is... The meet and greet I won was very rushed :( They were running very late, and there were 80 people (40 winners + guests). We were divided up into groups of 20 and the radio station sponsoring it took a group photo of each group. We were told no personal pictures and no autographs - and I'm thinking it was because it was so late. Chris came to my husband and me to say hi and shake hands and I did have a few seconds to chat with Will and I made sure I was next to him in the group shot. As soon as they did their photos, they were rushed backstage, and Magnificent was already playing while we were walking to our seats. But I don't think my experience was totally typical. They were actually playing at that Stripped gig in Hollywood at like 6:00, which was 60 miles away from where the concert was, so they had to get to an airport, board helicopters, and get from another airport to the venue where the concert was (luckily it's only a few miles). R#42 wrote about it here. http://www.coldplay.com/newsdetail.php?id=450&page=0 And if you watch the video, it shows their their suv's arriving at our venue and it was after sunset. Since you paid for your meet and greet, you should have a little more time to spend with them and when I've seen pics and read about other meet and greets, seems like personal pictures were allowed at some of them. Your gig is so much smaller and most likely much less of a huge production than a VLV show. You'll have such a great time, and like I said, I'm so envious...

So stinking envious of all you who get to go to the shows. As much as I love my husband and kids and living in California, it sure is inconvenient at times! Guess I'll have to make up for it all with my Coldplay California Road trip 2011-2012. I couldn't go to Wembley, I couldn't go on the boat, I couldn't go to Liverpool or Newcastle. I've already told him that I'm going to every Coldplay California show, and anyone is welcome to join me :) Take lots and lots of pictures of our Will, please.

With Chris and his insecurities, this has all been said before - like not making albums after they turned 33. Or the rumors that Gwyneth wants the band to break up and Chris to go solo. Or...or...there have always been rumors of an impending breakup. They even talked about bad vibes after the X&Y tour. So I really wouldn't take any of these rumors too seriously. I still firmly believe the best of Coldplay is yet to come - as they mature and evolve and I'm so excited for their new album and what their genius has to bring!

It's that sultry bassist look he has. :wink3: As for the band not liking Chloe, she and Jonny had been together for several years before they got married, so their relationship was nothing new or anything that would be disruptive to the rest of the band, I wouldn't think.
