Concerts/Artists you have seen/Are planning to see
I'm so excited to see Mumford and Sons in 12 days at the Hollywood Palladium in California :) After many concerts this year, that one is the last that I have tickets for :( Last Saturday, I saw Tom Petty and ZZ Top opened for them, and before that, it was Muse (with Passion Pit) on Sept 23, Foreigner (not sure any of you youngsters knows who they are) on my birthday Sept 18, Goo Goo Dolls with Switchfoot and Green River Ordinace on Aug 29, and Styx on Aug 5.

Finally!!! He gets the recognition he deserves. No more scary Will, he's now "care-y" Will :laugh3: Of course, we all knew it the whole time. And can you imagine breakfast at his house, with 3 little ones? 2 1/2 year old twins and a 4 year old? LOL

How can you NOT love a guy like this: Will offers Rik a yoghurt, with the addition "and I want to see this eaten now, not still on your desk at 4pm". It's not done in a sarcastic or nasty way, but rather in an almost fatherly and concerned manner. Not a lot gets past Mr. Champion. He's clearly twigged how hard Rik's been working and has figured that if Rik isn't going to look after himself, then he'll do it for him. Will stands behind Rik as he continues to fiddle in the Pro Tools screen. It's a lot like watching a parent trying to pull their child away from the X-box. I imagine Will has come straight in from the family breakfast table at home. Perhaps he's still in the transition from "parent mode" to "work mode". Perhaps he's just nice. Either way, Rik starts the day today with a healthy breakfast. :wacky::heart:

Which member has the best style?
Yeah, based on that, my assertion stands - Will. By far.

I agree - Will has the best style and rocks those scarves.

Oh gosh, when I met him, it was so hard not to go all fangirly - of course, he was very patient while I finished hyperventilating. LOL, not really...but my heart was pounding so hard I thought I was going to totally lose it. He was very nice and gracious when I told him how much I enjoyed their shows. It was so rushed though and I would have loved more time to talk to him, but that will have to wait until next time...

Coldplaying made BT Digital Music Awards 2010 People's Choice shortlist... awards announced 30th Sep
LOL, of course, now I know who they are. And my God, can Dom play the drums or what? Will is and forever will be my number one, but Dom is definitely second. I saw them at Honda Center, in Anaheim, CA. I did not have GA, which was fine. They played 3 nights in the LA area. I wish I'd been able to see them again, but I've been going to a lot of concerts lately. Next time...

I've been a casual listener of Muse for a while - I've liked their music and all, but other than Matt Bellamy, couldn't name the other band members...until... I saw them in concert last week. OMFG - what an amazing show they did. It's like a lightbulb went off in my head, and now I'm spending a lot of time on their website and all. And listening more and more to their music. While muse.mu isn't as nice looking as coldplay.com, it has way more content. But coldplaying.com is the best fansite out there by far. I think the only reason it didn't win is that Muse is touring now and way more visible than Coldplay, it probably gets more hits and all than coldplaying.com does right now, with the slowdown in Coldplay info. Back when Coldplay was at the height of Viva, coldplaying.com was so busy, I could barely keep up! I miss that :(

I was thinking the exact same thing...Better yet, I'll learn how to sing, play piano, play guitar and dance like a spaz, then I can just replace that other guy. :laugh3:

Nostalgia thread part III: First concert and last concert?
You know it! In the Ford station wagon, no less! Personally, I never had an 8-track player, but I did have my tape recorder that I would record songs off the radio on. I would sit by the radio for hours until my favorite songs would come on and then I'd rush to hit the record button. LOL The very first mix-tapes.
