  1. Hey thanks for the info! I'll be sure to take your advice and "get over it". Why didn't we think of that?
  2. Way worse. It takes youofo a popup window of a Rick Astley video that won't close. The pop up keeps moving if you try to click to exit. If you try to quit your browser, more popups come up. You need to do a force quit or reboot your computer to get rid of it. This person is littering several threads with it. So don't click on any wiki links that are posted today.
  3. Ok well, that was interesting...earlier I wrote that the coldplay.com site had a tab for Tour Dates. I was online from my iTouch at that time. So now I'm at my computer and I went to coldplay.com, and it looked the same as it always has. But at the bottom is a link to click to go to mobile site, so I clicked it and that's when the Tour Dates tab came up. And the wording is a little different, too, on the tabs. Hope everyone is having a nice weekend...and I think we all should RSVP to coldplay.com and ask for a formal cancellation statement from the band.
  4. Me too. I feel that I *have* to be there for closure. I still feel like something is missing from my Coldplay experience. Have you seen coldplay.com lately? There is a new button for tickets that leads to the page that just says "hasta la vista.". We can only hope. I am still annoyed that there has been no statement from the band-seems kind of rude to their fans but now it's been so long that I doubt we'll hear anything fro them.
  5. It was silly but Phil looked adorable. ;)
  6. They had a Queen look-a-like present crew awards before the last concert. Look in the live blog from Wembley for more cute pics of the boys and the awards they gave out :)
  7. So which is it? We know that Roadie 42 also goes by Miller...and that one of his names is Matthew (or Matt). But is it Matthew Miller or Miller Matthew? Lately, some people have said that Miller is his first name. I found this paragraph in the article in IQ Mag - Life, Death and Butterflies: Jonny Buckland’s guitar roadie, Matt McGinn, is shortly to become a published author having chronicled his life with the band; former keyboard tech Matt Miller has progressed from editing camcorder snippets of mates to providing content for one the world’s most popular band websites; and many of the suppliers are practically reinventing their wheels to keep up.
  8. So which is it? Oops, wrong thread...so I moved it.
  9. Marcia made a dvd for me of How We Saw the World :) just before her dvr died. If you can still make the Saitama one, that would be great!
  10. Aww, no changes...yet...not even on the other pages updating the look. Oh well. Sorry to get everyone's hopes up. I've just never seen it down for this long, so was hoping for something, anything!
  11. So I've been trying to get to coldplay.com for the last half hour or so and it's been down...maybe more news or updates coming? Or is it working for anyone else?
  12. Or maybe someplace like Whole Foods, Mother's Market or Henry's? I don't know if they have those stores near you? Whole Foods is amazing.
  13. Did you see the Black Eye Peas on Oprah last week? With the flash mob? Very cool. http://blackeyedpeas.dipdive.com/media/76361
  14. See, either he does it all himself, guitar and piano solo, or he has a backup band. But No Doubt is a band, Sheryl Crow has her own musicians, Jimmy Buffett has his Coral Reefer Band. It's not billed as an acoustic concert. And would he even do Coldplay songs? How could he do them alone? It's just not right without the other boys. That's what I'm having trouble with. I know Guy collaborated with that A-ha guy, but it's not like he went solo. I emailed the Oracle to see if she could shed some light on a setlist. The U2 concert is in Los Angeles that weekend.
  15. I keep thinking about it - but I just can't get over the Chris solo part. I can't separate him out because, as much as I like Chris, they are a package deal to me. But Kelly, if your husband decides not to go, let me know ;) It's less than an hour flight, or a 5 hour drive. The Coldplay-shaped Tampa fans do the Bay Area.
  16. Coldplay over the PA was the best part of the night. Miley did a good show, 10 backup dancers, 5 or 6 musicians, lots of props, video screens, but the girl just can't sing. It was very cute though, to see the excitement of all the little girls who were there. It was 90% moms and daughters and just a handful of dads and boys. I'll be home until lunchtime to collect my Mother of the Year Award.
  17. He's smiling!!! :D Great picture! Oh, I just love him. sigh...
  18. Green Day is touring right now. Started July 3, 2009 in Seattle, WA. They're touring Canada, US and Europe, for nearly 70 shows, ending on November 12, 2009 in Turin. It's a huge tour for them, but they dissed Coldplay, at least in their Los Angeles show a month ago, so they'll never get my vote.
  19. I'll take Mr. C's butt anytime - Or is that too pervy? :shame: Great pics...
  20. I know...Chris is so funny, and always has little things to say about Will.
  21. Reggie, I'm glad you got your dell problems sorted out. We have 4 dells in the house (and my iMac) and have been pretty happy with them. I don't know how computer savvy you are, but one of the things that has really helped keep our pcs running in good shape for years is a program I downloaded years ago called C-Cleaner (short for crap cleaner). You can google it and download it from filehippo. It just helps maintain the computer and gets rid of a lot of junk that can mess things up and clears out the useless registry files. I use it either when I remember, or when the kids start complaing that the computers are running too slowly. I always run it before I do a Microsoft maintenance and before I defrag the hard drive. It's a free program, so maybe that will help. Are you going to the Bridge Concert? I keep debating with myself - my husband isn't crazy about me going to yet another concert, and I myself am not sure if I really want to see Chris without the boys - it would just be too weird for me, thinking that something is missing. As much as I love Chris, they are kind of a package deal for me...I could have bought great $150 seats, but...I didn't. I am going to see Creed next Wednesday - courtesy of my daughter's ex-boyfriend who works at Verizon Amphitheater and can get me $6 house tickets - where I last saw my beloved Coldplay and had that amazing experience. And please, please, have a drink or two for me, light a candle, chant or whatever it is you do for me tomorrow night, because in less than 24 hours, I will be at the Honda Center with my amazing, beautiful, wonderful 10 year old daughter and 12,000 other 9-12 year old girls and their parents to see Miley Cyrus- I already have my earplugs in my purse, not necessarily for Miley, but for all those screaming little girls... I started watching the South Bank show on Coldplay that was on Sunday night. I got it downloaded on my ipod. So far, I am absolutely loving it - definitely one of the best documentaries I've seen of the boys. It just makes me miss them more, lol, and the magic that was this past year...so if you can download it, you should! There are a few different link formats on the main board page - can't tell you exactly what page, but towards the end or it may be in the multimedia section, but totally worth the watch... And on that note, I'm going to finish watching it, as soon as my dinner dishes are cleaned up! Good night all my Tampa board buddies
  22. And Marcia, I wanted to thank you for the dvd and postage. :) I figured those are good on every street corner...
  23. Awwww...but I'm so not into the shaved head look, I much much prefer the fuzzy look. And will we ever see Jonny without the cap? lol
  24. Oh My God, you were right in front!!! You had pit tix? I've *never* been that close to the Boss before - But I do know where he lives. ;)
