Ticketmaster seems to be going to "paperless" tickets, where you have to swipe the credit card used for purchase, show a photo id, and all members of your party have to enter together. I suppose it's supposed to cut down on scalping, but geez, what a pita. It may be also, to help control fraudulent tickets being printed. I can imagine that with tickets easily being printed online now that some unscrupulous person could print multiple copies and sell the same seats several times. Next week, when we see AC/DC, its paperless, but my husband lost his wallet a month after we bought the tickets and had his credit card replaced. I called ticketmaster to make sure there would not be a problem as all the account info was transferred to the new card, and it took 3 people and 20 minutes on hold to get an answer. Oh, we also have paperless tickets for Miley Cyrus in 3 weeks, too. Hopefully, they'll have the system down pat, and it won't end up being a huge mess.

Oh you're in for a treat! I've seen Bruce in concert probably 15 times, dating back to 1981 and The River tour. He's awesome...and Jay Weinberg is playing drums for him now, since Max, his father, and original member of the E Street Band is now on Conan. Clarence is moving a bit slow and has his stool onstage, but he still rocks his sax. Miami Steve is fun to watch jam with Bruce. Gone are the days of his 4+ hours concerts, but he still plays a good 2 1/2 hour set, and calls a lot of audibles. Last time I saw him, he played Jungleland, my favorite Bruce song, and it was the first time I'd seen in played live. Have a great time!

Thank you SO much for the link. What's your twitter name? I'll follow you...since I can't come to Wembley, I'll have to live it through all of you. It took Anchorman a couple of weeks to email me back - but he did email me! I'm such a dork, I printed out the email and put it with my CP stuff :P.

Juliejulie, there were several winners and their guests. We were not allowed to take our own pictures, but the radio station had a photographer there. Here's the picture they took - my husband is the one in blue standing next to Chris. I am in the back row next to Will. Guy looks very happy surrounded by those girls. :laugh3:

Wow, is he flying back and forth from Europe to New York evey other day between shows? That can't be good for his health. I could see Gwyneth and the kids staying in NY while their home renovations in London are going on, but it's a lot for Chris to be traveling that much...especially if he's still sick or fighting off something (as attested by the scarf in Bern).

Hey, focus of your attention. (Have you seen my pics in my photobucket of LIJ? Chris was really close to us with his umbrella) My attention is all on Will and his drumsticks (disco sticks?-:wink3:- forgive me Lady Gaga). But Chris has that charisma that makes it difficult to not focus on him and his intense blue eyes and his total passion and immersion in what he's doing (hello, Clocks anyone?). Reggie, you and I need to get together, you dancing around like Chris and me playing the air drums - and it has to be air drums because I totally suck at Guitar Hero World Tour, lol. I can play bass on Guitar Hero, but I'm way too uncoordinated for lead guitar or drums. And I can't sing worth crap - my kids keep telling me to stop singing. My best friend still lives in Alameda, so we need to meet for coffee or something next time I'm up there.

I read somewhere that a reporter thinks that Chris dances like he has "a squirrel in his pants." Forget choreography, we just need to do the squirrel dance.

Juliejulie - I won a radio contest for a meet and greet before their concert in Irvine, California. It was amazing to meet Will and Chris - just for those few seconds. Then we had to get in our group for the photo, and then it was over. That's me with Will in my avi. Lucy's story is far more interesting - lucky girl :)

Ha ha ha, don't we all? Haircut, botox, personal trainer - then I'd be looking pretty darn good, too.

Lucky you for being able to have a conversation with Chris. When we met Chris, he shook our hands and apologized for being so late. That was all he said but we were impressed that he seemed genuinely concerned that we'd been waiting for hours to meet them. I left Chris to follow Will but Chris stayed with my husband for the picture and Chris put his arm around my husband's shoulder, totally surprising my husband.

Ohh, another Will video - there are not enough of those in this world. So what did you talk to him about when you met him? I'm so jealous - when I met him, it was so rushed, I just sounded like an idiot fangirl, lol. Not the conversation I'd been planning for months ha ha.

Oh there was nothing wrong with the way he sang it, but it's just a song that should not be an acoustic song - completely changes it. He looks much younger without all that hair - he looks really young with his new haircut. I love Will with a beard, but I still think Jonny should shave his off. And boo to those girls - front rows should not be wasted on non-diehard fans. There should be a fan-o-meter that rates you when you buy tickets, so real fans get up front. ha ha ha :laugh3:

Clocks is what got me into Coldplay, it's my favorite song. I first saw that video on VH1 or something, I was in the other room when I heard it come on and of course, I got all excited. Then it totally freaked me out when I walked into the room and some very dark dude has Chris's voice coming out of his mouth. lol Clocks live is just the best - I love everything about, how Guy's bass is just turned up a bit more, the way Chris just rocks that piano stool (you like that, doncha Tracey? :wideeyed: )...and of course, Will's beats...sigh...I have uh, 8 versions of Clocks on my ipod - drives my kids nuts. lol

Does Chris use his own? I thought he just picked up the one that Guy puts down during Lost, bangs the drum a few times, then bounces the stick off into the crowd. Now that I think more about it, it's probably Will's...
