Well, to be sure, one would need to compare a Viva video with a Lost! video. I've looked at youtube, but it's so hard to tell. We know how hard Will bangs those Viva drums and bell, and he has been known to break a drumstick or two :wink3: What show were you at? You must have gotten it from a roadie? Right, I was saying that The Hardest Part "works" acoustically, so does Lost?, but LIT2 just doesn't have the same impact when it is played acoustically. I actually like all 3 versions of Lost. Lost+ with JayZ is powerful when he lists some of the important figures in African-American history (well, he could have left off Bobby Brown). Lost! live is amazing, and I love how they Chris and Guy go to stand with Will and his drumkit. I have a few good pics of them with Will :heart: Chris is almost hiding behind Will in one of the pics. Chris is very cute but he looks way better with less facial hair. The lastest pics of Jonny have him looking really scruffy - I'd love to see him clean shaven, he has beautiful eyes that I think get lost behind his beard. I suppose I'll be spending my day watching youtube videos. I can't really leave the house today. Our bamboo floor in our living room warped and they are demo'ing it and replacing it today and tomorrow. Jackhammers, power chisels, shop vacs, it's a loud dusty mess.

Finally some news! Gatwick is a bit of a ways, but you'll be fine. We only flew into Gatwick a couple of times, but there is an express train that goes to London, and it's not very long - I can't remember what station it goes to, but it was one of the major London stations. You won't get much sleep Sunday night with that early flight, but you'll have all day on the plane back. I'm so excited for you! I've heard that video of Will singing TKC. Be still my heart - god that man is hot...It's a slow song so his accent is strong - sigh...I would love for him to sing a bit more and I think the video of Chris coaxing him to sing Billie Jean is hilarious.

Oh it is ridiculous. It's almost a big joke now. It's been 24 days since the show was "postponed." Most of us are still holding out hope for a reschedule announcement sometime. But yeah, they've just left us hanging, all 20,000 of us. LiveNation is giving refunds, but I haven't yet asked for one. I'm not ready to give up my pit ticket. Of course, if they do reschedule, I'll have to convince my husband that I need to fly across the country *again* for a concert. I have emailed the Oracle and Anchorman, but no response, not like they could do anything anyway, but at least to let them know that we're still out here. Kind of like the Who's in Who-ville, in Horton Hears a Who..."we are here, we are here, we are here."

Ok, that's one of my favorite songs, but seeing it done acoustic is just *wrong.* That song needs the whole band with him, Will's drums, Jonny's guitar, Guy's bass...Chris and a piano, nope just doesn't work for me. The Hardest Part acoustic works, Lost? works, LIT2, nope, not at all...It's like he's naked up there (Tracey, shut up). And Chris with a beard like that instead of just a little scruff - nope, ick...all just my little ol' opinion, but definitely not one of my favorite videos. And I *NEVER* have anything negative to say - goes to hide now...

She's joking about my facebook photo album. Our neighborhood won an "Ice Cream Social" for 100 people from Dreyer's/Edy's over the weekend. We turned it into a big block party and I posted a lot of pictures. :)

Now that I'm watching it on my computer, it's just ok quality - it looks great on my ipod touch, but I bet it will look really bad on a tv. It would be great if you could burn it for me, esp. if you have HD - I'm talking about the WorldStage from Saitama. Who knows when it will be on Palladia again...I love it, except that they didn't record Clocks...I'll pm you my address. Thanks so much Sam. :) The fires are getting worse. They are 80 miles or so north of us, so we are not affected, and there is no wind blowing smoke down here. The one by my dad's is 100% contained, but there is one in Los Angeles county that is so so bad. 190 square miles, over 50 homes destroyed, 12,000 homes in danger. I feel that Coldplay strikes such a great balance in their shows of combining the spectacle with the intimate. Def Lepprd did a good jobof connecting with their fans who were in front with a ramp in the middle and some singalongs and handslaps. But truly nothing compares to what Coldplay gives their fans. The side ramps. B and C stages, the videography is outstanding. I too feel like I'm "ruined" for other concerts now. I'm not sure if Im going to ac/dc with my husband and sons next week but I'm definitely going to Miley Cyrus in mid September. Lucky me.

I haven't seen that video, I'd like to. I'm mad at someone in my family, who isn't admitting it, but my WorldStage got erased off the dvr. Grr. I have it on my ipod, but it's not the same as watching it on the big tv in HD. So now I'm waiting patiently for Palladia to air it again. It's 6pm here and it's "cooled" down to 92. Tomorrow will be another 103 day. My poor son, doing 2 a days for football in full pads on a turf field - it's at least 15 degrees hotter on the field. :\

There are a lot of older homes there, too, and in this market, they start in the high $800s but go up to the mega-million range. My dad's house was on the market for over a year, before they finally got someone on long term lease. Its a tough market everywhere now.
