oooooh, interesting! i definitely think you're onto something! but in the KROQ interview yesterday, chris said a street name that could possibly be the one he lives on. i'll relisten to the interview in a little while and find the streetname and post it here, because that will either give us an answer if everything fits, or change up some things.

thanks for all the pictures! i especially love the one with chris and jason bateman! i guess we do have high standards, or maybe it's just that we know the guys' performances so well that we notice when something is slightly off. i still maintain that chris's voice was substandard, and the confetti could have been done better, but everything else was fabulous :D

hahaha, guy looks so tired in that photo! you'd think they'd have taken a better one :P the confetti was their idea? man, i have to say i thought it was a bit underwhelming, especially in the way that they did it. i think it should have been understated pyrotechnics myself :P that was the hardest note to read yet, i think. i guess guy really was tired!

YESSSSSS. does this show go up online after it airs? i would assume so, since i've seen it before, but i think this is bound to be good as long as chris doesn't get snarky about his kids again. i wish he'd say something about jon giving gwyneth guinness the last time she was on, but i highly doubt it. that would break his own rule about not talking about his family.

i agree. in some recent interview, chris made a comment about how he and the guys always see these amazing sunsets while they're in japan, and that's what it makes me think of...just this really beautiful sunset and a nice couple. i love that chris is seeming to write really personal songs again. X&Y lacked those, i think. parachutes and AROBTTH...you can tell he felt and experienced all the things in the lyrics there, and they were so perfectly brought out in the music. i just didn't feel the same level of emotional involvement with X&Y, regardless of whether or not chris experienced all those things. it was a bit...impersonal. this, i just know it comes from a real experience. you all are right, it's very sleeping-sun-ish :nice:. was i right or was i right when i said way back when that since sleeping sun is the last thing we really heard from then, we should look to it for what to expect? :P (just kidding :D)

haha, chris looks a bit funny in that picture...glad to see they're not wearing the jackets ALL THE TIME :D. i didn't really think they would, but then again, they took the all-black thing to the extreme and still are :P oh man, i've chilled out about earlier, but if there was some way to record what i heard over my phone, i would have :dance:

i can't get over how much i LOVE this song. i think it might even surpass LIT for me, second only to VLV. it makes me want to cry, it's just so...nice. it's a perfect mix of everything they've done before, just like most of the other songs we've heard so far. it's very parachutes, very AROBTTH, and a tiny bit X&Y in my opinion, and that's exactly how it should be. i'm so impressed by this album already that i can hardly believe it. i don't know exactly what i was expecting, but i wasn't expecting something as good as AROBTTH is for me. and so far...it's coming up quite parallel to it and parachutes. that was too much to ask for for me to even consider back in november/december, when i was worried, but now it's almost definitely a reality so far. i just can hardly believe that i'm getting exactly what i wanted from them, because i had some interesting standards.

ooooohkaaaaay, updated, but it needs some work :rolleyes: lots of things will need to be fixed when there's more info available. i'll get on that as soon as i can.

i'm 85% sure it's DAAHF, i think. part of me believes it's a non-album track, and all of me wants that to be the case. :P
