calendar and links updated with daily show info!!!! :dance:

I didn't see a thread for it yet, so I decided to create one. Feel free to delete/merge if there already is one. So. COLDPLAY IS (APPARENTLY) GOING TO BE ON THE DAILY SHOW WITH JON STEWART ON JUNE 26. :dead: :dead: :dead: This kind of makes my entire life, because I've always wanted them to be on that show. Jon is a pretty big Coldplay fan, as he's mentioned more than once, and the second time Gwyneth was on the show, he just wouldn't shut up about Chris. haha, but on VH day, that was a particularly royal crash, methinks. and chris and jonny found it just hysterical that their site was in smithereens while they were on radio one. they got a real giggle out of it with jo whiley. anyway, i'm out for the night, ladies. nice talking to you :nice:

oooh, really?! that sounds great! i didn't really realize that there was much they could do about webtraffic short of spending oodles of money on a new server or something, but thanks, guys! :D maybe just a slightly smaller boom, then? :P i guess it being a thursday makes a slight difference...work, school, the like. if it was a saturday or sunday, i think ian's carpet would forever be charred.

agreed. i think it's a ridiculous practice, to release things so far apart. it's basically saying "here, take it!" to the rest of the world. that said, i think it's kind of ridiculous to complain about getting it later AND to refuse to download it. i'm not good at being blunt, but really, if you want it sooner, you can have it. you can bet that most of the leaks after june 11 are going to be complete and in full quality, so i personally don't see the big deal about downloading it as long as you're going to buy it later anyway. and the artwork will be on the way too. of course, to each their own about how they want to experience it, and i think that's great if you want to wait. but really, if you're going to wait then you're going to wait. no use complaining about it because it's not going to change, and you can fix your plight if you want to. i'm not used to being brutally honest, so forgive me :P i don't mean to rank on anyone in particular, i'm just saying it's not a catch-22 like people seem to be thinking it is. you download it and satisfy the three years of waiting, or you tack on 6 more days by your own choice. and experiencing it with the board is really important to me, providing that i can physically GET ON this site that day with all the webtraffic! so bring on the leak!! :dance:
