  1. Louise, I'd feel much better if my spoken French wasn't that horrid! I couldn't find the right words at all. :bigcry: Yeah they were nice. Shame we weren't standing closer together - I tried to save a spot for you guys but there were so many people everywhere, I was exhausted and I couldn't see anyone I knew apart from Suzanne. :wreck: The view was absolutely lovely despite the bad weather. It IS windy there and now I have a sore throat because of the stupid hill. I'll post some photos later today. :)
  2. I'd like that, too.
  3. Ohhh interesting. Looking forward to hearing the score!
  4. Sorry if anything's written a bit weird... the gig went by in what seemed to be a minute and especially the last few songs were all dream-like. I haven't seen anything quite that good until then, hence my... confusion and all. Louise, Kelly - it was great meeting you! :cheesy:
  5. I LOVED IT. I was down at the front but I couldn't see Damon all that well from where I was standing so I'm looking forward to some good videos of him looking at the crowd. It was a truly fascinating moment even though I couldn't see him at that precise moment and I wish they'd stay on the stage for just a little bit longer to play more just one more song. I hope it's not the end, it can't be. :( I preordered the deluxe box set a while ago and downloaded the mp3's today. As for The Puritan - I thought they simply changed the setlist but it looks like it wasn't that... Perhaps Damon thought it didn't fit that moment.
  6. I still have to see the Unlocked bit. :disappointed: Dry pretzels, what bugs you about the show?
  7. Photoshop all the way oh yuss :wink3:
  8. Rudy and Brent.
  9. Yes, I see what you mean. However, The Great Game has a great storyline that builds to the very end of Series 1 and right into Series 2. Oh and what Hysteria said!
  10. Yay! I suggest you start with Series 1, otherwise you're gonna get a MAJOR spoiler!
  11. If I hadn't have luggage on me, I would've cancelled the first night in hostel. Yep.
  12. I agree with you guys - reading the reviews and reports is overwhelming; I was practically sobbing all day and that's all because of a single box set review and listening to the albums and reading stuff on the forums etc. I'm really sad I couldn't go but I'm very glad I'll get to see them really soon. Yay, that's great! I'll send you a PM so we can sort things out, OK? :sneaky: It'll be different this time round! There'll be plenty of people to help you out! I'll send you a message, too, to talk things through. :wacky: ION, Easybus tickets = booked, now I only need to check in with Ryanair and I'm good to go. :nice: WHAT, ARE YOU SHITTING ME? Seriously, though. Why did they send them to your uni address in the first place and isn't there a way the person who signed the parcel instead of you could contact you about it? Fucking hell. Weren't the security supposed to be checking the identity of people with the tickets? What a shit situation, I'm really sorry and frustrated on your behalf. :(
  13. I'm voting for list B.
  14. Ahhh I'm really glad you enjoyed the gig, Fitz! And thanks for the replies & advice, guys! :nice: Is any of you queuing for Hyde Park? Oh btw Kelly, we have to meet so we can talk Blur! and Radiohead! :nice:
  15. Good.
  16. GUYS I NEED YOUR HELP/REASSURANCE. So my friend Mr John Smith bought us print-at-home Ticketmaster tickets on his name. Therefore, the two tickets have got the name of this John Smith on them. Unfortunately, my friend cannot attend the gig because of some unforeseen circumstances so he sold his ticket to a friend I don't know. Question is: will we have any problems getting in? The tickets are supposed to have a different barcode or whatever it is that gets scanned and it doesn't say anywhere on my ticket that the ticket buyer needs to be there. Just this: :bomb:
  17. Yeah... I lived in England for a while two years ago and I don't feel like changing the flag just yet. :P
  18. Ah I see. Here in Slovenia you don't get much variety at all... Usually they teach English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Hungarian in some places, and Russian, Latin and Greek, but not in every school.
  19. So not every American high school teaches foreign languages? :|
  20. If we get another medal today, we might be first again. :phu: I meant that for the medals/million list, obviously.
  21. I hope he continues doing that.
  22. That's a shame because seeing both bands would be pretty damn cool. But yay, Sigur Rós!
  23. Or watch it here. :) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9AmqbXJI5M]Blur- Live At Maida Vale - YouTube[/ame]
