Coldplay are probably never going to be better than Radiohead simply because they can't get past that sort of self-conscious music-making. Nothing they make sounds like it's from a real, real person. I know I definitely don't think like a Coldplay song. In most Radiohead songs I've heard, the lyrics and the music sound like life. Does this make sense?

Mature as always. :P There have actually been a few more interesting stories about police that I've heard in the last couple of days. They dumped a paralyzed guy out of his chair and cops from the same department beat the hell out of a woman inside their station for having her feet up on the furniture. I definitely don't hate cops, I do respect them for putting their lives on the line to protect us, but at some point you have to stop and think, "Do I really need to beat the living dog shit out of these people just because they're looking at me funny?"
