i couldn't agree more.. Well said. And this is exactly how I feel about them.. I love these guys but there is no point in going to more than one show/multiple shows because the setlist does not change. I have been following them since 2003 and frankly identical setlists have been the norm since then. So now when they tour I just hit the one show and that's it. For me this is not the norm, i go to many shows of my fav bands, the more the better IMO. I do this with U2, RH, Muse, The Killers, SP etc. CP really have the back catalogue to pull out older songs to mix it up some.. One or two songs here and there would really make a difference. I mean they have to know by now that the majority of their fans go to more than one show. Your example of RH is right on and this is what makes going to their shows so great. The same can be said of U2 they do try to mix it up a bit. anyways, my 2 cents...

Yeah, the last time they were here in DC a couple of years ago they all came out but only got pics with richard and tim, tommy wasn't doing photos just autographs but he did talk to us briefly. This time though all four of them took plenty of time to talk, sign and take pics with all of us it was great! They were in great spirits, joking around with everyone..

Just saw them at DAR Constitution Hall in DC on 5/19/09! What a show... I was second row dead center in front of tom. Got some good pics and a setlist (mind you the venue staff was trying to kick us out while we were trying to acquire said setlist but persistance paid off). Met all four after the show.. They were in great spirits and so down to earth. Got my setlist signed and pics with all four.. It was such a great nite! here are some pics in no particular order..

i like the album title: The Resistance.. pretty damn cool. Hope they play a new song or two when they open for U2 that will make my day that's for sure.!

i got to shake his hand after he did is set when opening for Keane.. Great guy and l really like his music.. I have a few pics that I will post of him too from that show.

One of my most favorite songs on this new album and the back up orchestra really makes this song take off. well where I am at most states are pretty close together. Anywhere from 3 to a 6 hr drive for the east coast shows I am going to.

ok I'll try and remember that next tour.. :inquisitive: i can only go to shows if I can afford it.. Luckily most were around the area where I live (on the east coast) and well, I have a job. So if you save up for it in between tours it works out and GA tix are not expensive. This tour I have a better paying job and more vacation time.

Officially done with getting tix for all the shows I'm going to as of today after winning the RED Zone Auction for Raleigh. Counting 8 shows in total! I can't wait.

i love these guys! I saw them open for Snow Patrol in 2007 and had never heard of them until then. They knocked my socks off seeing them live! I love the new song, Panic Switch.

it's official.. I have tix to all the shows I wanted to see. I will be going to NY1 and NY2, DC, VA and all three of the Dublin shows!!!!!!!!!!!:stunned: I have GAs for all of them except Dublin 3.

I agree! but I think u underestimate the fan base here in the US. They sell out their shows that they do here, certainly last tour they did. Granted they weren't playing stadiums but were playing normal sized arenas for the most part... That says something.. And after this they will certainly be a lot bigger here!!:D
