yep, looks like the new single will be released to radio on jan 19th. i admit the movie for twilight was medicore but the books are a AMAZING read..

also.. I went to see a Gran Torino today and there was a preview for a movie called Watchmen and they played Take a Bow in the preview of that movie!

yeah it was a ok film but it had me pretty engrossed cuz i just finished the book and am completely addicted to reading the series. I am on the second book right now.

yeah, I would think for the most part its booked but all the fine tuning, production, ticketing (presales etc), marketing, promotion is still in the works.

no.. I imagine we won't hear about this for a good month or so. If possible they hopefully will start the tour late spring/early summer. They typically start here in the US but they may change it up.

rumors are swirling that the new single will probably be announced on dave fanning's radio show sometime next week.. hope this is true...:cool:

i certainly going to try and fight the urge on whether on not to listen to the leak if and when it shows up.. Mind you it might drive me insane fighting this urge and I may lose the battle but hey doesn't hurt to try right? :D

well if it ain't the Edge losing the master or Bono losing the lyrics to October you never know what can happen.. Yeah, they are usually tight but I believe there have been leaks on at least the last two albums. if i hear of a leak I will post it here. Interference.com is a huge u2 community based message board so someone will post it if it shows up.

no leaks yet.. only thing thats out there are the beach clips from a few months back when they were in Fez, Morrocco. There were 5 audio clips some barely audible. if you want to get the latest on this I highly recommend going to interference.com, go to the forum "Where the Album has a name".

and this bit of news came in from a poster who got an early subscription of Q magazine, this what he posted over at interference.com :cool:

for the last tour the presales worked out for me I got what I wanted which was GA tickets. It was madness though. Now that live nation is going to be involved with this next tour I am not sure how it's going to go. I think it's worth it to join for this reason only. With the fiasco with the last presales which they remedied later on, second try for those who got screwed etc. I am sure they are going to look out for the fans and hopefully find some way to keep the scalpers out of it as much as they can.. We'll have to wait and see.. I know they sent out an email regarding those whose subscriptions were coming up to renew that they were going to extend them until after the relaunch of u2.com for the new album.
