I was just watching Entertainment Tonight. They were talking about David Cook being in the next issue of Rolling Stone, and when they flashed a picture of the upcoming issue I swear I saw Chris in his military jacket all alone on the cover! But they only showed it for 2 seconds so I'm not sure I didn't imagine it. Anyone know for sure? cause I'm going to have to buy the issue if it's true!

In My Place... has been stuck in my head for the past week...

i hate critics. music reviews are always full of cliches and bad analogies. the reviewers shoot for literal elegance rather than actually giving a straight up opinion of the music. every review is the same: paltrow reference? check. referring to the band as "Martin"? check. knocking the last album? check. balancing cautious praise with sharp criticism? check. offering no real insight into the album? check. Ugh. I can't believe critics get paid to write something that's been written before and will be written again. Can't ONE just be bold for once?

Hey guys. I'm trying to make a mix of songs that are good to dance to, and I've realized that I know nothing about dance music! Do you guys have any suggestions? It's gonna be like a work out/pump up kind of mix. All I can think of is Hips Don't Lie by Shakira! LOL. I seriously need some suggestions!

Wow. I couldn't agree more! I guess it's just a matter of musical taste. I love "Low" and I would LOVE IT if the next album goes in that direction. If you think the 4th album will suck just because you don't like the electronic direction they're going in... then don't buy it I guess. :P Personally, I think it'll be their best. Ditto. Those three tracks are so underrated. They deserve so much more credit.

^ He's not gonna become a partywhore like young Hollywood (paris/lindsay).... I think if he does get sucked into Hollywood, he'll add some European style and elegance to it. Plus, they've got a young family, so I don't think they'll be out partying and doing drugs every night or anything like that...

OMG, why is nobody excited about this? I totally LOVE Becks and have been in love with him since his Man U days (which were his best, obviously!)!!! I'm glad he's coming here. I mean, wow. I've always wished soccer was more prominent in the US, and that's what the MLS is trying to do by hiring Becks.

Wow, is anyone else sickened by this? I mean, who still hangs people? Why didn't they just put him in prison? The death penalty is so barbaric... and this is the 21st century for God's sake! And now the whole world can watch him die with the click of a mouse. Don't get me wrong, the guy probably deserved worse, but the way it happened just seems inhumane to me.

I would add Chris Martin to that list. I'm being completely serious, I think he has an amazing voice.

I'm sorry, did you have Sam's Town on there?? Let's just say I seriously disagree, and leave it at that. haha. Honestly, Sam's Town? That was an awesome album. Sure, if you're expecting a repeat of Hot Fuss you would be disappointed, because what they did instead is actually grow in their sound. But whatever....
