I noticed yesterday that there was a strong following of Werder Bremen fans here, so im starting this thread so you can discuss Werders upcoming matches in the Champions league and Bundesliga! The Grun und WeiB impressively motored past Borussia Monchengladbach to slip into second place!! now that we seem to be getting our form, we get to go kick the CRAP OUT OF LEVSKI SOFIA AND THEN GET REVENGE ON CHELSEA!!!

im deffinately talking about in school systems and in my community at least, i dont know about other communities, but it seems as though religion rules peoples lives around here! and if you dont believe in what they do, you are wrong! :confused:

nick, i only bash christian people for pushing their views on other people, like the gay issue, i would have no problem with them if they didnt do that

but the best way to get around one side getting more than the other is to just leave religion and gay/straight lifestyles out of school altogether. its just too controversial

i have no problem with religion being taught in schools, as long as you reserve the right to CHOOSE to take the class or not. i also believe that if they want to teach religion, they should teach the HISTORY of religion, for alot of the answers to MOST of the worlds conflicts lie within the history of religion. dont worry, i take both sides.

The Greeks and Romans were what you would call today "bisexual" they had sex with almost everyone! For Greeks and Macedonians it was normal for a young boy to have his first sexual encounters with another boy and to keep to the boys until their late teens when they began being more attracted to girls. The Romans were another story, while legionaire's were on campaign it was not uncommon to become part of an all male orgy during dinner parties! What he says about perception of gays is absolutely correct. Same with the eastern block countries. Have you noticed most of the gay pornography comes out of europe? thats because after the fall of the Soviet Union, males over there were much more open to gay sex than western males were, and they were perfectly heterosexual males. And being gay is not a choice, no person would CHOOSE to degrade themselves. It has been proven that there is a difference in the way gay peoples brains operate. A good example is the movie Alexander (this movie was not very popular because Alexander WAS depicted as gay) For Macedonians most young boys would be gay with each other until around 18 when they would take wives and stop doing that, but what was different about Alexander was that his attraction never went away. He didnt choose that. It just stayed. (His homosexuality is a proven fact and i speak of real acounts) it is no different today. But just because you are Christian does not mean that you should try and convince people that it is wrong to be gay just because your god says it is.

well thats gotta be all of the italian teams, Manchester now that Conaldo is there, i dislike Chelsea most of the time, but DEFFINATELY when they play Werder or Arsenal. I dislike Barca and Real Madrid. basically my 3 fav teams are Psv Eindhoven, Arsenal, and all time fav Werder Bremen

i never said that you should be sued for saying bad things about gay people. Ims aying they should simply be treated as everyone else and not as "wierdos" and "freaks". say what you want about them without punishment, but i just believe all this anti gay nonsense should jsut end already

well im a fan of one team from each league that i like. my favorite team of them all is Werder Bremen. I like psv Eindhoven, I like Arsenal and i like Liverpool too (stuck between these two) Secretly i support Chelsea as well because Ballack is on there, I love Drogba's form at the moment, and Robben is simply brilliant with the ball. But since they have an upcoming match with Werder Bremen, i must shhhh these thoughts!

hey i am a liberal and i personally dont give a shit what you think about me, or anyones opinion for that matter. All i know is that the Constitution garuntee's rights to EVERYONE. Why cant homosexuality be taught as an alternate lifestyle?? What makes you so much better than homosexuals? why cant it be taught? its a perfectly normal thing, everyone is different. I dont think the church preaching against gays thing is good because i know it is in the Christian religion to oppose Homosexuality. But i do believe that Slander of homosexuals is wrong. They deserve rights too

i wish i could support him, hes a great talent, and the only reason Podolski got the young player award is BECAUSE he has bad sportsmanship. Football is about love of the game and sportsmanship, and its just hard to uphold those principals and still support Conaldo. He is the reason i dont support Manchester Utd anymore!

i believe there is a left and right. And i do agree nick, the Dems do keep screwing up, most of them are a bunch of pansies. There actually are only a few that i support. The republicans are rising in the polls simply because they bash the dems for being "weak on terrorism". simply because they believe in the Geneva Convention and the Constitution of the United States. Every time a Dem opens his mouth, the Republicans jump on the news saying "oh you dont want to elect them, they are weak on terrorism!!!" Well the reality is that our "tough on terrorism" government creates far more terrorists than it kills. Iraq is a DRILL SEARGENT for terrorists. I mean comon, a normal Iraqi just trying to mind his own business, all of the sudden his wife and kids are killed in a push by american troops or a bombing raid, there you go, a new Jihadist. Hes alot more willing to strap a bomb to his chest now than he was before. The only way to stop these guys is to get the hell out of Iraq and focus on finding Bin Laden and other kingpins in Afghanistan, because Iraq is an unwinable situation. And when the Republicans say "hey you Dems voted FOR the Iraq war when it first started!!!" its like, "DUHHHHH, anybody would have voted for it, you manipulated the fucking intel to say what you wanted it to say!" very upset about that Werder heartbreaker. Im an extreme WB fan, i came home early and got dressed up in my Werder jersey and scarfs and pants and watched the whole game franticly waiting for WB to net the ball, and just about started crying when Barca scored with 2 minutes left. ahhhh well it will be tough withought Borowski, who is out with a knee injury, but when Klasnic is fixed up and Klose and Diego are back in top form we should be able to rock Levski Sf, and then maybe steal a win from Chelsea (its more than possible, we had a couple posts last time around) cross your fingers!!!

wow....all republicans can do to try and make people look the other way from their pitiful situation is keep on bashing clinton even though he doesnt even hold office anymore.
