Total war, im not saying it was right, but that was the aim for the allied bombing of Dresden. It really does work, and it has proven to work many times. once again, i dont think it necessary, but look at the bombing of Japan....We nuked Japan and everyone says it was unecessary, well i believe differently. It was estimated that over a MILLION allied soldiers would be lost had we been forced to invade mainland Japan, and the casualties on the Japanese side would be darn near the extinction of the Japanese people(many times the Japanese military would force the civilians to commit suicide to avoid being captured). So in a way, we prevented death by creating it... You said , "alot of people that were there said there was no genocide"....well please show me some quotes, and the credentials of the person who is being quoted. And also note, not everything on the internet is true, most of it isnt....thats why there are so many conspiracy websites. You need to do some cold hard book research on this, it wouldnt hurt to VISIT the camps or talk to someone who was actually there....i think you may be suprised You are partially correct, MANY of the camps were located on the eastern front and were liberated by the russians, but there were numerous camps liberated by british, french, and american soldiers on the western front. All of the camps were basically the same.

The families torn apart? The piles and piles of dead bodies discovered by allied troops? The camps found with the dead bodies in them? You failed to mention the significant German military presence that could be moved from various areas around Dresden to the eastern front to halt the Russian advance on Berlin. ahhh yes, he does know his history, dang wont be able to trick him out of this one!! The goal was to create enough chaos int he area that the 40 sum odd German divisions ready to move to the eastern front, would not be able to move, this shortening the war. You also failed to mention that all of your stats come from a wikipedia search page, and you only used the half that calls it a "war crime". Most of the believers in that POV are far right Germans who were Nazi supporters at the time. With you extensive knowledge of military affairs, you MUST know that 40 fresh divisions of crack troops can REALLY put a stopper in things. And with the German breakout in the Ardennes forrest just that winter, it led them to fear that the German Blitzkriegs were not done for. In order to prevent another Blitzkrieg using these 40 divisions of troops, Churchill himself approved the plan to bomb Dresden. Do you not recall what had happened in the 4 years previous to that? Germany had bombed London, and other British cities in 41 and 42 in order to beat the British into submission. Then as the Germans were being pushed back to their own country, more and more concentration camps were being liberated. After seeing what was being done to these people, The Allied leaders were willing to do whatever was necessary to end the war. Dont try and make the Allies out to be the bad guys here. you must recall General Montgomery and the rest of the Allies kicking the Germans out of your Egypt and the rest of North Africa in 42 after the battles at Tobruk and El Alamein.....? So be careful when you criticize their actions in the war after they helped out your people too!:veryangry2:

And there were deffinately records of who went in and out of the camps....10 exterminations isnt just "10 jews" its ten researched people, people who were singled out and examined to find out if they had jewish blood. They have the names and records of who came in the camps.....you just assume that they were magically gone?? and if you are claiming it is a hoax, you must be claiming that Germany was staging it....well let me ask you this, most deportations did not happen until late late 1942...then they continued right to the end of the war. So with Rommels crushing loss at El Alamein in August of 42 and the encirclement of the elite German sixth army at stalingrad....they are now losing on all fronts...why would they take the time, money, and material to stage a HUGE hoax like the holocaust.... The people who lived through it saw what happened. The people who were in the camps lived what happened....who are ANY of these critics to say that it didnt happen???? those people make me sick

well almost all great empires have suffered some sort of downfall, roman, hunnic, chinese, even english. Look at how fast great britains empire was, but now they are mostly confined to their original starting position, countries that were occupied by them now have traces of their influence in their cultures. The same could easily happen to the US. But the bad part is, back then, it took hundreds of thousands of men in a great army, a military genius most of the time, and an iron will to topple an empire. Now all you need is an iron will and some nukes. Its really scary these days, there is no more noble war. If two great countries were locked in war in the 1700's say, it took military geniuses and a real army to win a war. Now most of the time all you need are the smart weapons. Thats how the next great war will be fought, smart weapons.

partially correct, i do believe something must be done, i dont believe that being multi cultural is a bad thing, that IS the American dream, a place where you can be multicultural and not have to worry about persecution from others. But just basic things you know, like learning English, or coming in legally, or just obeying our laws.. You wouldnt move to france and expect THEM to learn English for you, you learn French, you enter legally, and you respect their laws and boundaries....its the same for all people, or at least it should be
