let me start off with saying, the girl ive been dating for a a year and a few months is an immigrant from Equador, legal, but non the less an immigrant. But i do have to say that illegal immigration is wrong no matter how you spin in. the families less fortunate to be born where they are have my sympathy. But it doesnt change the fact that there are laws, everyone else has to follow them (immigrants and citizens). Why should borders just be open to everyone! do you know what that would do to our country?? We are a nation of immigrants and i am proud of my heritage, but they followed the rules, they came here the way EVERYONE who wasnt born here, has to come. Illegal immigrants clog the social system, and its not very smart for them either. An illegal alien may make 2 bucks an hour when if he came legally he could have made at least 5.50 (minimum wage here). Im just saying, look at it this way. a family of illegals comes across the border. the male gets a job for 2 dollars an hour. every week he gets paid in cash under the table, so he doesnt pay taxes on income like everyone else. Then he gets in a car wreck with no insurance. then his wife or girlfriend is pregnant and gives birth, the boy is now a citizen even though his parents didnt follow the rules, and we have to pay for all of the things these people did wrong, when they could have just followed the rules LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. this isnt anarchy, there are rules here

he cant be reelected its closing his second term,thats why we are just sitting in Iraq and not working on a plan to get out. We are gonna wait and wait until hes out and its someone else's problem

well when you think about it, the timing of his resignation makes perfect sense. Now that the dems hold congress they are gonna question his ass and investigate the hell out of the white house. The republicans were worried that with the new congress wanting blood from the administration, Rumsfeld would get angry and lose his temper while being questioned and what not (its happened before) and now that they have someone else there, when someone asks a question, all he can and will say is "i dono, i dono, i dono"

i really had no doubt at all that the dems were going to take back congress, far too many people have been miffed with the republicans lately to not go democratic. in my humble opinion, the only thing really hindering a complete congressional blowout was stupid john f*ing kerry. He is really quite a tard. He cant keep his mouth shut when the other side are self destructing! as Napoleon once said "never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake" i guess John Kerry never studied Napoleon lol

I dont think that this special law to outlaw slander is too cool. i understand that it is in the Christian religion to be anti homosexual. In my opinion, as long as they arent hurting anyone (physically) or threatening to, they can say whatever they want. I dont think special laws to accomodate a certain group of people is fair. But i do believe that Gays arent asking for any special laws, they are simply asking for their rights garunteed to them by the constitution of the United States. FIX U2, you seemed to think that they were asking for more...they really arent, they want to be treated like normal citizens. Sure you may think its wrong, but why should that mean that they cant be married? why do you even care?? (not you personally, just anti gay people in general) Its not like they are coming up to you and hitting on you and trying to make you be gay too. What do you do when you need to go vote on a local issue that doesnt really affect you...you dont care and dont vote for it or vote for something that isnt going to screw someone else over.
