Chris did plenty of talking to us. I attended the Seattle concert in January and the whole time he was teasing us about the Seahawks going to the Superbowl and all that jazz. It hyped the crowd up, oh yes. I'm not a U2 fan (though you'd expect me to be!), and I don't think Coldplay sounds anything like U2 at all, but I guess it's all a matter of what you think sounds more U2 than Coldplay. There are songs that have similarities (Square One for sure, we all know) but nothing too concrete. Hopefully Coldplay's sound will develop and ultimately change how people view them, possibly by making a newer, unique sound?

I have no idea. Does Clocks have an "EAHDJNSJKRTN" in it? (I'm too lazy to go back and reread what that dude said, so I'm making it up.)

I thought they would've chosen something more energetic, Low or something. But Hardest Part is a pretty good choice. Not my first, but I'm glad people know more than Speed of Sound and Fix You. I love the songs but they're so overplayed.

In a way, yes, but I think Michael Stipe's voice is deeper and more... mature, if that makes any sense. It's a different sort of vocal quality they both have. Chris's voice just sounds higher than Michael Stipe's.

This is a serious question, too. I'm trying to make this a feel-good thread so people can find their own qualities in the lists we make. For me, a good person is someone who is nice and funny, who has their flaws but overall cares for a lot and is outgoing and friendly and who wouldn't dream of hurting another human or another animal of any kind.
