Actually, it's somewhat possible. It depends on the track. What the official FAQ says to do is to split the track, invert the bottom half, and then set both tracks to mono. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/help/faq?s=editing&i=remove-vocals That's the official FAQ. Beyond that, you're on your own. For the most part, it works, but for all/most of the tracks I've done this for, you can still hear the vocals faintly. IMO, it works better for louder tracks. :] Hope that helped.

I have a question about recording digitally. Every time I do, it records fine and I set all the settings right, but there's an echo. Any insight on how I can fix it? Thanks. :D

I always thought Fountains of Wayne was kind of silly, but I like some of their songs... and I think Maroon 5's name is random until you know more about them. I know the 5 is for the 5 members of the band. Well, now it's 4 members of the band. But still. I never understood Blind Melon's name, but they have good music so it doesn't really matter. :D

Just popping in to say I saw Snow Patrol live on Wednesday because the opening band was one of my favorite bands (Augustana) and I gotta say, I am now a fan for sure. I underrated them and feel so bad because they're amazing and threw such a wonderful concert, and it was so fun to be there. They're coming back in February and I will be there, most definitely. :] The thing about this concert was they were supposed to play in the summer, but poor Gary got sick. :c So they had to cancel. I'm glad I got to see them, they were spectacular!

I disagree with Death Cab for Cutie. I think it's a really unique name and I believe it's from a humorous poem or song, I can't quite remember. Maybe I'm just saying this because I'll fight to the nail to defend them because they're from my hometown. I really hate The Academy Is as a band name. Really. And Panic! isn't very good either. ._.
