They're how I became a big fan of Snow Patrol! They opened for SP and I went to see Augustana but was in for more of a treat than that! Incredddddible set. At one point, it got very quiet before they played, so I shouted out how much I loved them. It was awesome.

Yay! Funny thing, as Vega4 played their set, I said, "Wow, they sound a lot like Snow Patrol! I really like that." Ahhh I'm so glad Augustana is getting good reviews... they definitely deserve it!

I have! I wrote one for Snow Patrol... I never got a reply but I know they read it because it was hand-delivered by someone I know. I once sent an e-mail to Tally Hall (one of my favorite bands ever!) and got a personal reply. It made my day.

I'm pretty sure I'll get my chance too... it just needs to be on a weekend/while I'm on break... News about my letter... my friend's dad gave me photographic proof that SOMEONE read it. I'm psyched. I wonder what they're going to do with the drawing I did... ;D

Argh! I really want to meet them now... but both times I've seen them were on school nights so I had to go home and get rest, especially since I saw them in tech week (when everyone buckles down for extra work). I have made it my mission to meet them... I just have to find people who won't drag me away from the stage doors when I do. But I'm glad you had a good time! : DDDDDDD

I adore Vega4! I saw them open for Augustana in January. They were beyond amazing, and sooo nice to boot. We had the greatest conversation with Gavin after the show. I got his and Johnny's autographs, because they were the only ones I could find. ahhh I do love them so. Their CD is spectacular.

I don't like Bill O'Reilly, or any of the other prominent "bashers" in today's media. It's not because their views are different than mine, rather the way they present them using name-calling and screaming, like that kind of thing makes them right. I could care less about their political stance, but when they go around shouting down anyone who disagrees with them, that's when I say they've gone too far. :/ If you're going to present your opinions, at least do them with some kind of tact.

I haven't eaten at MccyD's since I was 7. Ever since I got appendicitis. They're unrelated but I still associate their food with excruciating pain. Also... it's too greasy for me. :'c

Glad the show was good! Can't wait for the details. :)

I feel your pain! I had to stand in the rain and cold waiting for my nanny's friend to come. I was so cold I had to jump up and down singing to warm up. I wasn't embarrassed, just freeeezingggg. D: Bring something really really warm, like a thermos of hot cocoa. :D

I've never tried that because I don't carry a bag... I must try it just to see if it works. But the pants has so far always worked. Except one time I put my camera in the pocket of a trenchcoat and walked right into a venue. Twice. It was spectacular.

They wouldn't allow them in my concert too, but people still got them in. I stuffed mine in my pants and waltzed right on in... they didn't search pockets either. Hrmmmm...

WOW! You were really close! You lucky person. D: Next time I see them, I will strive to get as close as that. :]

My letter was delivered last night!! Thus far, I've only heard he has photographic proof. When he returns, I'll obviously have more details... BUT EXCITING. (Do you think they read it? I hope they did. D: )

omg I wish that was me. XD My friend's dad is at the concert in NYC right now, I think.. I just got a picture of the stage. The more time that goes by, the less time until my letter is delivered and I get an autograph! I'm so psyched. Too bad I'm not the one meeting them sadly. D: By the way, I can't get enough of Signal Fire. I've put it on repeat on and off all day!

I wish! XD I didn't put my contact info there. I thought it would be a little creepy, but maybe if I'm SUPER lucky, they'll write a note back. Even if it just says, "THANKS" I'd be more than happy. Whatever happens, my friend's dad will probably report it back to me. Have fun at your concerts, guys! :)

Anyone catch them on SNL? I was grinning the whole time. Except I don't think SNL is a particularly flattering place for a band to play... I don't think any band I've ever heard there has been particularly good soundwise. I don't think it's the bands, just the way everything is set up... the sound was a little numb. BUT HEY, IT'S SNOW PATROL. OH OH AND BY THE WAY! My friend's dad is going to see and meet them in NYC soon... and he offered to get me an autograph and deliver a note I wrote them. I hope it gets to them... it's just a fan note but I drew a (crap) picture of the band. :]

I'm sick too. It's not the flu but it's some other weird virus... I've been coughing and sneezing all morning. :[

Augustana. Their concerts are the best ones I go to, no question. Twice when they headlined and once on their support, and all three times I fall in love with them again. Snow Patrol is very solid too. It's the audience interaction they have. I'm sure if Tally Hall would come to Seattle, I'd rank them high.

1. I still don't get it. 2. What will I do tomorrow? She'll be there, and she'll probably talk about me again when I'm not looking. :/ 3. I need to put the tissues back in my room. 4. This week will, ultimately, suck. 5. What role did I get...?
