It's so frightening and disturbing. I'm keeping everyone who works at/lives near/attends VA Tech in my thoughts. What I don't get is why they didn't cancel classes. The UW here had a guy go into an office building on campus a few weeks ago and he shot his girlfriend and himself and classes were canceled. It's very surreal, this whole thing.

Blades of Glory - 7.5/10 I loved it because I am a biased Will Ferrel fan. Anything with him in it makes the movie awesome. Also pretty quotable, which I love.

I didn't like Eyes Open at first either, but now I love it... it grew on me. Try some songs from Final Straw. My favorites are Somewhere a Clock is Ticking (every time I hear it have to drop what I'm doing), Spitting Games and How to Be Dead (lol all the singles I know but they're so catchy) If you want earlier stuff, listen to When It's All Over We Still Have to Clear Up. That is a goldmine of beautiful songs. Try Last Lone Gunman, An Olive Grove Facing the Sea and if you like songs with a lot of repetition, Firelight. Hope that helps. ;D

Girls are stupid. I know because I am one. I had a problem with a friend who was super nice to me to my face but then chose to say some nasty things about me when my back was turned, to people I've known since I was 5. It was fun because I found out eventually and was so upset, my friends acted out on their own volition and called her out, and she apologized. The best way to do it is not get your friends to, first of all. It's kind of cowardly. I didn't tell my friends to talk to this girl, they did it by themselves. I was going to talk to her myself but she apologized before I got the chance. Secondly, be honest. :D I've had friend problems since 4th grade, at least 2 a year, so I can say without a shadow of a doubt that the best way to resolve conflict is to be blunt and honest... I hate beating around the bush. If they don't accept it, they're not worth your time. Good luck. :3

My mom listens to a lot of Coldplay, she gives me a lot of music that's great too like Brett Dennen, and I've turned her onto bands like The Fray and Augustana, even though she still pronounces their name wrong, and she bought me Snow Patrol one time and then took it from me because she heard good reviews about it. XD She's also a big fan of Tally Hall, which makes me smile inside, and she enjoys Keane. My mom and I like the same music, tbh.
