  1. I just wanted to say, I love how off-topic this thread gets. Obviously the award for the most active and most interesting thread under the Live category goes to us. :crown:
  2. I find this accusation all too amusing. I just have to roll my eyes at this.
  3. It varies. Some days I manage somehow fine with only 4 fours, other days - I'm brain dead the next morning and fall asleep in class, and rush home to take a 6 hour nap :( When someone mentions you look cracked out, coked out, or simply hungover, you know you're tired.
  4. blue and everything I could not have imagined for
  5. The guy is wearing a wedding band on his left hand. He's smiling and he's married so it must have worked for him. Also. Unibrow.
  6. mmm rock SunChips or Doritos?
  7. Ohhh I see. Ugg I can just imagine the texture in my mouth right now. Thank god for the overwhelming artificial flavours.
  8. The Greatest - Cat Power
  9. Jazz Country or Rap?
  10. Hmmmm A Whisper - although I don't really think the chorus is all that bad.. What food item could you not live without?
  11. Bryce ended up feeling like he was king of the world, but Chris didn't like him and went fishing for trout at 9 o'clock. Suddenly the big boy that was fishing then grabbed Bryce and Clint felt bad because Violet wanted them to grope her nose. But Clint thought she didn't want to go to the carnival, but turns out that she did. The fish wandered around the pond, dying. So Ivet touched her left ear and swallowed 1,000,000,000 maggots, 13,000,000,000
  12. Little sticks of ickyness.... is that the "wheat?" I wish I knew more about what I was actually eating :uhoh:
  13. ^^They do have them in Canada haha I buy them occasionally to feel somewhat healthy, but I'm sure they aren't all that good for you. It's a very deceiving product name! but I like the Cream Cheese and Chive ones..... very salty but very good :uhoh:
  14. :laugh3: Livia, okay, you can have his brother, and I'll take Jamal. He was a bit of a big jerk in some parts of the movie, but I was glad he finally turned around and helped out Jamal. Some of the songs are really good - I especially liked Jai Ho (of course), Ringa Ringa, Latika's Theme, and Paper Planes (DFA Remix). I'll be living away from home studying business. Hopefully I can take some art classes as well. It was between either business or art because I want to get into advertising. I guess we'll just have to see! Ohhh I have a friend who is going to uni for architecture as well. He's not really looking forward to all the math and physics but he's good at it anyway so I'm sure he'll manage. And I'm sure you will too - I'm sure the stuff you're learning will get more applicable and interesting in the coming years :nice:
  15. I need a texting plan for my phone.... The last bill was exceeded by $40. Definitely not something my parents want to see :uhoh:
  16. Agreed. Potatoes rule above all vegetables. But I'll have to say carrots. Celery is just too stringy.
  17. Susan Boyle gets her makeover: Do you love it or hate it? BY Lauren Johnston DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER Friday, April 24th 2009, 9:25 AM Don't recognize that stylish brunette? It's none other than Susan Boyle – the breakout star of "Britain's Got Talent" who has been dubbed a "hairy angel" by the British press for her formerly frizzy and gray-streaked cloud of hair. But she's grizzly no more! The singing phenomenon was photographed Friday outside her home in Scotland with newly dyed hair in a more stylish cut and even some make-up to even out her ruddy skin tone. She also had her eyebrows thinned and shaped in recent days and stepped out in chic high heels. Friday, Boyle was again wearing her new fitted leather jacket – a huge leap from the dowdy mustard-hued lace dress she wore on her initial television appearance – and added flair with a Burberry-print scarf. The producers at "Britain's Got Talent" are "frantic" over the changes, according to the British Daily Mail. They apparently hoped she would maintain her unpolished appearance for the program's live finals as Boyle's dowdy looks paired with her angelic voice seem to be the secret ingredient to her astronomical success. Fans and media alike have buzzed over whether the frumpy "everywoman" with the huge voice should pay a bit more attention to personal grooming. The surprise star, 47, had vowed in several interviews to stay true to her "plain Jane" looks adding, "I wouldn't want to change myself too much because that would really make things a bit false. I want to receive people as the real me, a real person," in an interview with CNN last week. Amanda Holden, one of three judges on the reality show that catapulted Boyle to international fame, has said the Scottish songbird should stick to her look if she hopes to maintain mass appeal. "She needs to stay exactly as she is because that's the reason we love her. She just looks like anybody who could live on your street," Holden said in an interview with the Daily Mail. "The minute we turn her into a glamourpuss is when it's spoilt," she said. --- :uhoh:
  18. Yeah, that rain in the evening was such a disappointment. If it rains on the day of the concert, I'll probably have be to un-economical and buy a cheap umbrella to shelter myself in the line, and then toss it out once I get in, rather than carry it with me in the GA area :uhoh2:
  19. I have to go as well - visiting my grandmother :nice: It's great catching up with you Livia! Have a gorgeous few days off and I hope to talk to you soooon hun :kiss:
  20. The first time I watched it, I couldn't stop confessing my love for it for an entire 20 minutes :laugh3: Jamal is so adorable - my friends and I have developed a crush for the actor Dev Patel because of it, and I've already purchased the soundtrack haha The music in the movie just makes it that much better I need to start studying very soon, or at least start working on the end of the year projects. School is almost done, and then after the summer I'll be off to university! I can't wait  How about you, are you almost done as well?
  21. I just watched this today on Youtube and I was amazed. Her voice is beautiful and sounds so professional. It's now over 43 million hits :stunned:
  22. Sunny days with 30°C temperature? Take me there! :P Talk to you sooon Lore  Rolle - I'm sure I talked to you back in the day as well! this is brilliant :nice:
  23. Bikeriding is the best way to get around town - it's so much more fun than taking a lousy bus with stuffy people haha The movie was pretty funny, and you end up liking some characters more than others. But in any case, if you haven't seen Slumdog Millionaire yet, you should definitely see that first. I fell in loveee  I miss talking here too... I left for many many months but just had to come back because I really don't think there's a community feel like this anywhere else online. The people here make it all the worthwhile :nice:
