Fashion etc.
^ It really is - and I'm sure you have a TON of other stunning designs! I really admire people who follow what they love and go into fine arts. I've always loved and practiced visual arts but there's that fear of "what do I do after I get my degree" stuff, and it makes me question my drive and commitment like 20 years down the road :uhoh::disappointed: So all the kudos to you

A Thread for the beautiful Lore
I feel completely out of the loop haha 2007 - that's a terribly long time Oh my gosh, how was it meeting them? :wideeyed: Did you admit your utter and complete love, or did you play it more cool and suave? It must have been surreal guess what also... I went to the first of two coldplay concerts here last summer and it was amazing. The next day, chris, jonny, and guy signed my concert program book and i think a part of me went to heaven that day lore  things otherwise are going pretty good too; we're on March Break right now (basically means no school for the entire week) = freedom

^ please do! Oh cool, so you have prom in March? What month does school end for you? You must be so excited, you're going to have such a blast  And ApproximatelyInfinite, I imagine myself doing the same thing by bringing a pair of actual "dancable shoes" to prom along with heels. My experience with dancing in 3-inch heels hasn't been the best in the past (blisters, stepping on peoples toes, bruises, etc) so I'm going to try to find a pair of more confortable flats to carry along in my purse or something

^ The heatherette ones are so wild! Oh the blue one is pretty and... "fierce" if I must say  I love the Betsey Johnson dresses. They remind me of cake and icing  Same here, I think I'll end up picking a short one because it's more fun and easy to move in, ...but floor-length ones look so elegant. Ahhh tough choice to make

as soon as my sister comes home tonight with the camera, I'll take a picture of it, but in the meanwhile, I shall admire ones I cannot afford with my wallet  http://www.edressme.com/promdresses.html

I feel like it's been months and years (well, it quite possibly has been) since I've talked to you! I thought I'd start coming back since I'm going to the concert in July (!) and truly, there's no better place to be online to talk about the things you love with people who really are the best  Oh my gosh, Lore, sooo many things have happened, I don't know where to start, and I'm sure it's the same with you. Well, I noticed you're a moderator now (congrats!), has a lot changed here? Are Livia, Iris, Will still around? We have to catch up now :laugh3:

What were you...
^That's what I did yesterday! and then I felt all gross and groggy so today I went on a bike ride across the town to go prom dress shopping. Successful!

Those are so adorable, they remind me of the ocean despite the elephants :P. I was so close to ordering the dark blue argyle pair over the Internet (regrettably to say, we don't have J. Crew here in Canada) but I backed out at the last minute. Now with spring on the way, I really wish I did take them! So I went prom dress shopping today, and it's way harder than I thought haha. I ended up buying a knee-length red vintage one :nice: My question is, did you guys go to prom? What did you wear?

I can't wait for Politik, which in my opinion is hands down, one of best songs live. And of course Fix You, and this time around Glass of Water. I wish they'd play A Rush Of Blood to the Head or Shiver or Sparks ....(link down, youtube "Sparks Live") [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gw-J3eaDe3o]YouTube - Coldplay - Sparks[/ame] ...instead of something like The Hardest Part. For some reason, the song never really grew on me and I always felt as if White Shadows should have been a single instead. To each their own I suppose.

Call me when they graduate...I'z outta here! (For now...wow, so literal!)
Tracie, I'm not sure if you remember me, but it's been forever since I've been on here. Now that I'm actually posting again, you leave? Surely this isn't it? Afterall, it was you who advised me that the pits of apricots were dangerous and poisonous and not to eat them. I still have the list on my computer saved somewhere

What are you reading right now?
I'm reading 3 items, all for school, and all of which I'm really enjoying thus far (yes, including Shakespeare for once!): Hamlet The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb

Let's take it down a thousand. Honestly. Regardless of whether or not someone may condone this type of "scalper activity", there is certainly no need at all to go around wishing death upon someone. It's understood that he's trying to sell tickets above face-value on eBay and that his sales posts are less than welcomed. It's unfavourable in our eyes as fans who would so much rather have the ticket, or atleast the opportunity to have gotten those tickets, but we live in an Internet age where this is sort of thing happens. Don't get me wrong, I do not support scalpers jacking up prices to a true fan's expense. But to hope that someone inflicts death upon themself—that they kill themself? That's just a terrible, sick thing.

Thanks aunie! I like the ROM too, and I've heard that the AGO is so much better after the renovation. I need to take advantage of my student discount and visit during the march break (2 more days, thank god)

Only AFTER the concert, alright? I mean, I did pay for a Sec 111 ticket, might as well enjoy it ;) Plus, it'll be like our little Coldplay anniversary - same date - June 30th!
