In my opinion, I think that Chris had a serious lapse in judgement when he agreed to do that skit. It was distasteful and over the top. It just doesn't fit at all with his more sensitive emotional side that we saw on the Zane Lowe interview. Maybe that's what he was going for but ... it didn't work for me :( I know he was just having some fun but ...

I love the sound of this!! Has that beautiful anthemic signature sound! Can't wait to get this record!!

Love both bands. Coldplay will always hold a special place in my heart. Coldplay is still the "bigger" band and will be for some time yet, I believe! KOL have some very big shoes to fill if they ever plan on getting to Coldplay status.

Favorite tour was Arobtth. It was all about the music and not the "show". Not a fan of the crazy dancing and gymnastics.

Well, The children are beautiful and it's lovely to see that Chris does get out and about with them. I wish they would be left alone as well. I'm really happy that Chris kept his cool with the paps. He obviously knew they were there and wasn't terribly pleased about it, but maybe they kept their distance. They're probably scared of him. LOL Or maybe they're trying to be a bit respectful of the little ones.

Lost is the closest song to what I'm talking about, but the acoustic version isn't on the album, unless it's a hidden track that i don't know about. Or maybe it's a part of that pre-order from I-tunes. Anyway I've only heard a very short snippet of it so hopefully it will surface at some point.

Don't get me wrong! I love the new record but I'm missing something and that is, a simple and beautiful ballad. I was hoping for at least one song in a similar vein to A Message or The Scientist. Anyone else feeling the same way??

I can hardly wait to hear it as well, but I think I'm now going to wait for the whole album to come out ... even if it is "leaked". There's something to be said for the waiting and listening to the whole record in the order it was intended to be listened to. Does that make any sense??

This is fantastic! I think that there will still be some acts added as they said 50 bands and there are not yet 50 on the list. There will be no single day tickets available according to the news I've heard. I do hope that the new CD will released before then, but the word seems to be changing on a day to day basis as to when the album will come out. Accomadations in the Pemberton area are pretty sparse and many are already booked up and the next closest place is near Whistler. Since this is a ski resort ... summer rates are a little more reasonable although still pretty expensive. I'm not into the whole camping thing so I'm going for comfort! I'd like to stay near Pemberton for convenience sake but Whistler would be a whole lot more fun. That's most likely where Coldplay will be staying.:)
