yeah early Blur is a bit of a shock when you see it - but I guess it is like that with most bands - i foget how old i am :shock:

I read through the coldplay article last night and it is superb! Probably the best I have written - it has a real Oasis backlash in it which I find hilarious :D If anyone cannot get NME but really wants the article, I will happily photocopy it at work and send it to you in a letter :D

my housem8 is scared shitless of clowns - we used to play Half-Life on a LAN and I would use a clown skin and it would continuously scare the living crap out of him - to the point where he would just loose it and refuse to play - most amusing :D

Blur: Greatest Hits is a superb CD and an absolute bargain at that price! :shock:

Ironically I think the David Bowie track is the best on the album - I like it a lot Avril lavigne - cover of Knockin on Heaven's Door = good not fantastic (she has better b-sides) New Travis Song - good New Moby track - good some of the other tracks - POOR I would say that the four above are the most obvious choices for best tracks of the the album Like I said before it's not the best thing ever but it is for a good cause and any cause that supports children is alright by me :)

I'm a big Smashing Pumpkins fan as well. Some of their more heavy work I am not so keen on (their Machina period) but their early work and Mellon Chollie are amoung my favourite records - absolutely superb band - it's such a shame they split but they had some of the best of it and long live Zwan - they have had a very promising start :D
