Coldplay are like a democracy, even though Chris is in the spotlight, everything is fair between them. don’t think i’m making this shit up. talk to some coldplay fans, young and old. there is a great divide between “rush of blood” fans who won’t lower themselves to listening to post-x-&-y rubbish, and post-x-&-y fans who aren’t intelligent enough to fully grasp an album like “a rush of blood.” I'M a 'post X&Y fan' and I came on here after I bought X&Y, but that does not make me stupid. I am intelligent enough to understand and even appreciate AROBTTH. AND I get along just fine with the people on this site who like AROBTTH more than X&Y, even though I adore X&Y. And I'm sorry that she didn't get her AROBTTH part 2 that she so deseparately wanted! Coldplay can never win. When they do something different people hate it and think they sold out and blame Gwyneth, who probably has very little influence on Coldplay save maybe Chris' lyrics. But if they were to stick to a particular formula people would call them dull and uninspiring. This just made me angry and the 'X&Y fans not intelligent' thing kind of hurt. :confused: I'm too sensitive, I know.
