  1. Kanye West: 'Coldplay are better than The Beatles' http://www.nme.com/news/daily-gossip/53785 Yo Kanye, I'm really happy for you, and I'mma let you finish, but The Beatles is the best band of all time. The best band of all time. But seriously. Do you guys agree? Disagree? I feel like it's too soon to tell, honestly. EDIT: Wow, I'm an idiot. Someone lock/delete this!
  2. One of you had to be recording this, I know it! Come forward. Now.
  3. It just might be because I've been out of the Coldplay loop for a while, but if there's a joke here, I'm not getting it >_>
  4. Terminator 3: *** A lot of good action, but I didn't find the story or the characters that interesting. I also found the dialogue to be a bit weird, and I hated how they felt like they had to bring back catchphrases like "I'll be back." It felt too unnatural. But it's a good "Get some popcorn, turn off your brain" movie.
  5. This isn't Coldplay. If it is, someone on the inside would've confirmed it or the account would be taken down. Can we please stop giving this guy attention?
  6. The strut was never a requirement. There are quite a few HGH pictures that do not feature strutting of any sort. That being said, the stuff I've seen in this thread is pretty awesome. Thanks, guys!
  7. Yes "cool pose." I mean come on. How is this not cool? :P
  8. Let's not beat around the bush here: There are some people who hate Coldplay. And of course, it doesn't really matter; let 'em hate for all I care. But lately I've been compelled to see a Coldplay variation of a "Haters gonna hate" picture, like the ones below. So basically I need a picture of someone from Coldplay (or all of them) making some kinda cool pose. Bonus points if they're strutting. I would contribute myself, but I have no pictures to contribute! >.<
  9. OH WHOA OH-OOOOOOOOH OH OH WHOA OH-OOOOOOOOH OH OH WHOA OH-OOOOOOOOH OH OH WHOA OH-OOOOOOOOH OH
  10. Honestly, I really hope Coldplay shows up on Glee. They've covered everyone else, from AC/DC to Carrie Underwood, so why not Coldplay? I think that would be a fun addition to an episode, regardless of what they do with it. And I'm just curious, why do you guys hate Glee so much? I've seen proper explanations as to why some users here enjoy the show, but I have yet to hear from the opposite camp. I like Glee because it's fun. It works well when it's dramatic and it works well when it's comedic. It's somewhere halfway between sitcom and drama, but despite this it manages to be a fun, lighthearted show, which is something we don't really have on TV right now.
  11. No, I think he meant Call of Duty. But either way, I don't think he has it. He doesn't seem like the gamer type.
  12. Yeah, this has to be a coincidence. The chord progressions of both songs are nothing like each other.
  13. Neomu neomu meotjyeo nuni nuni busyeo Sumeul mot swigesseo tteollineun girl Gee Gee Gee Gee Baby Baby Baby Gee Gee Gee Gee Baby Baby Baby GODDAMN YOU, GIRLS' GENERATION.
  14. And therein lies the problem.
  15. Aw, what's wrong with a little Weird Al? I don't know if it's just the nostalgia talking (I went through a HUGE Weird Al phase in late elementary school/early middle school), but I enjoy listening to him every now and then. At this point, he pretty much has to do a Coldplay parody. They're too big for him to ignore! And I'm sure they'd be alright with it, as Al always asks permission before he does anything like this.
  16. You mean Nichole Scherwhatever? Ugh. I can't stand that airhead. But Ben Folds is a judge I'm willing to listen to. What did he say about the performance? I'm on the west coast, so I won't be seeing that for a while.
  17. I wouldn't take this article too seriously, guys. He's the frontman of a punk band. To them, being serious means not screaming "FUCK THE GOVERNMENT" after every song you play.
  18. Because...you post things at certain times? :P Anyway, I like listening to Linkin Park from time to time. Not because I think they're good (quite the opposite, actually), but because they remind me of a simpler time. A time when I wasn't staying up studying for finals. A time when Super Smash Bros. was the game of choice and not that Modern Warfare 2 BS. Simply put, Linkin Park is a bit of a nostalgia inducer for me.

Okay, what the hell does Chris say during the third verse of The World Turned Upside Down? You know the one: "...All of the surface and the underneath Suh geo mellow and a sex a key, oh uh And everything under the sun" Has anyone figured that out? EDIT: I forgot there was a lyrics section of the official website, so I went to look it up: They don't even include that line!
  20. The book starts off with a fun little fact: Coldplay consists entirely of Chris Martin. Any sightings of other "band members" are most likely hallucinations. :mean: Ugh. Come on people! Coldplay isn't just Chris Martin and three other dudes!
  21. "I used to roll the dice..." Okay, sure. A Coldplay cover. Nothing special here. "One minute I held the key..." Oh neat! Digging the synths and the claps. "*kickdrumkickdrumkickdrumkickdrumkickdrum*" Woo! Love me some Coldplay-inspired rap beats. "YEEEEEAH"

I had a dream where me, Snake from the Metal Gear video games, Guy, and my best friend from high school had to break into a huge vault in some university. I can't remember how we did it, but monkey bars and fighter jets were involved. And when we got to the safe, it was like a thrift store, complete with employees and funny smelling furniture. Probably the weirdest dream in recent memory.

Cemeteries of London: "Save the naptime for your weekend." I knew it wasn't that originally, but my brother sang it like that once and now it's all I hear whenever I listen to that song! >.<
  24. Eh, he doesn't seem that bad. Like a rapping Chris Brown, but without the domestic violence and whatnot. Either way, I don't think a Coldplay collaboration would suit him well. Collaborating with Jay-Z and Kanye West worked because Chris Martin and Coldplay seemed to fit their style more. This guy seems to be putting out a lot of "bubblegum pop" rap as opposed to Jay-Z and Kanye's focus on "real" hip-hop.
  25. Some people might disagree with me, but I like the X&Y era the best in terms of aesthetics. Explosive light shows on stage and whatnot.
