Radiohead
This year? I guess I missed it. It would help if I had a TV / radio though, I only found out about the April 1st gig because of this thread.

Vampire Weekend

Hehe, well I havn't seen it in ages, so I guess now wouldn't be such a bad time. Though you're right about it not having that easter vibe, though :laugh1:

Whens the last time you rode a bike?
Goodness, those must have been awful experiences. I have my fair share of scares due to bike riding, but I have to say they really don't compare to that. But that incident in 2000 sounds really unlucky! You must have bumped into him pretty hard for that to happen. Its odd though, because all of my accidents were not due to any obvious causes, like riding with no hands. I managed to slice open my forearm on the edge of a neighbour's brick wall while jumping up onto the pavement at high speed, so I didn't have enough time to make a sharp turn. Haha, that was pretty painful. And then there was the time there was something wrong with the brakes and the road was quite muddy so i did a sharp brake and the back wheel lifted off the ground. I did a sort of jump to make sure i didnt land head first, and ended up hand first on the road, which cause quite a nasty gash in that fatty part of your palm. It wasn't nice trying to remove parts of the road from it I can tell you.

Thalia ...twisted mind
Haha, this thread is fairly amusing. And yes, her Photoshop pictures are amazing! I'd agree with that.

Carmull, care-uh-mel, car-uh-mel, carmel?
Ca-rah-mell. I've never heard someone say Car-mul before. I thought maybe I'd liven up the thread a bit :dead:

Easter and Paine..
All I'm going to say is that it all boils down to faith at the end of the day, its something that can neither be proven or disproven. Yes there are historical records, the Bible. But these documents are several hundred years old. Who's to say whether what happened 2000 years ago is true or false. What you've posted is one man's opinion. I'd like to see him back it up with evidence. Its a bit contraversial to post this in the middle of easter, though.

quick question about 42
I think you might be onto something there, haha!

Random Coldplay thoughts...
Thanks, thats the lower register I'm expecting in the new album. Ah, I forgot how much I love this song. I really hope it was recorded and mixed under a new name for the new album.

LP4 Artwork
Going for the completely visual route, I like it. And the tracklisting on the back cover will of course be handwritten, a la OK Computer. In fact that is one of the only things I'm sure about this new album, that the tracklisting will be hand written... maybe even in Chris' own hand writing!

LP4/Prospekt HMV Online Presale
^ Would pay much attention to that to be honest, it's been like that since this thread was first made. And we all know that the band weren't finalising it until a few days ago. So its most likely a guess on their part. Anyway I'm off, I'll see you soon chelsea :nice:

Muse Survivor - Origin of Symmetry - Round 5
Ok now, let's not be so quick with the throwing of the uprooted oak trees and fridges this time around. Dementia of space for me.

He might not have a problem with fans but I don't think I should speak so soon seeing that we've seen his true wrath when that paparazzi guy bothered him. I doubt he'd do that to a fan though, hehe.

^ If only it came true. If I found out that Coldplay was staying somewhere within a 20 mile radius of where I'm staying, I would drop everything and go hunting for them straight away. But if I find them, I wouldn't know what to say or do. Maybe compliment how awesome they sound on VLVOD and how 42 does NOT sound like Radiohead.

Viva la Vida on Amazon!
Yeah that would be great, via rapidshare or something (if you know how) but I'm hoping that you won't need to send it to me. I'll be asking my mum when she's thinking of arranging it, but if I remember correctly we have never really left the country before my birthday (27th June) so I'm hoping that there won't be any problems. But thanks for offering :nice:

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
That's strange. I ordered mine from Play.com and it came Monday morning, the day of release.

Viva la Vida on Amazon!
I'm not sure if i'll be going abroad this year, but if something is arranged and I'm miles away from the UK, I might have to order a physical copy for when I get back. I just hope it's available in Tunisia on the day it's released everywhere else.

OMG! My fellow Radiohead fan was caught nude talking to some very weird fishes the other day, which in turn gave him a top secret videotape of Chris Martin taking 15 steps off a shear cliff after being chased by body snatchers from their recording studio in North London. The weird fishes said that they heard that Death & all his friends was going to be the title of the new album but Chris had a sudden rush of blood to the head and decided that Viva La Vida would look great as a title, and that the body snatchers that chased him off the cliff were actually Ricky Martin, Prospekt, Brian Eno, Bono and a mysterious hooded figure called The Eraser. I just want to know if Thom Yorke can verify if any of his fictional characters actually had anything to do with this tragic event, but I hope that means that the Chinese sleep chanters had nothing to do with this because they're were actually 42 of them standing on Violet Hill the day it happened simultaneously shouting 'Yes!' when they heard the terrible news, when I would expect them to be crying as if they had been standing in the cemeteries of London. I think i need a glass of water.
