Schweinsteiger and Ballack are indeed good players but they don't neccassarily perform when the going gets tough. I went to a few Hannover matches when I was in Germany and from what I saw, Mertesaker is one of the best young defenders in the game.

Well I'm totally impartial on the matter. Although I must admit that I do agree with Sam. Barlow may not have had the solo success but the lyrics he wrote in Take That are far better than anything Robbie has ever released. And lets not forget that he didn't even write angels.

Well I don't think that Germany will go very far to tell you the truth. Although Lukas Podolski and Per Mertersaker are both very good players. I have been to a couple of schützenfests in my time. I must admit that you Germans know how to get pissed.
