I find it weird that they will release an "uplifting" and "danceable" album during this time of the year (winter in many parts of the world).

That's referring to Adele. So don't expect nothing from the boys near those dates.

I had a dream that the album had 9 songs.

Are they still in conversations with the record label on the promotion strategy for the album or that has already been set up?

In My Place, ETIAW and Shiver are great songs.

Haven't heard this song in a while. I was hooked in the beginning but then I simply forgot it. Will it stand the test of time? Guess we will have to wait and hear the studio version. The experience to he song reminds me of my experience with Us Against The World: obsessed at the beginning but then it turned out irrelevant in comparison to the rest of the band's catalogue.

Finally some indirect news! And Coldplayzone has always been a good source. So we will get a new album before the end of the year. The first single should be around the corner. Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really like Pitchfork. But I doubt that they will rate well a Coldplay album since the critics there really like other type of music, more indie and hipster. They don't like pop.

I don't want to be a pessimist, but I am starting to think that we may actually get this album in 2016.

Rumors of a mini European tour in November and no official news yet about the album. Well, well, they better give us something very soon! They were sufficiently exclusive with Ghost Stories. It's time to share with everybody.

Setting ourselves for further disappointment?

Beach House announced today a new album that is going to be released on October 16th. Two months ago they released another album. I guess that is what many here are expecting is going to be the case for LP7. The band will come out one day and post on Facebook that the album will be released imminently. I highly doubt it. I think that we will get some sort of tease first either from the band or through the press.

I think that Jonny, Guy and Will's contribution is being hugely understated. While it is true that the split is 40-20-20-20 (since Chris usually comes up with a song that only needs to be dressed up), don't assume that is always the case (for instance, Magic) and that such percentages cannot be modified for those cases.

That answer from Rik (which I believe and hope is a joke) would be terrible. He basically confirmed that the album will be out before August 2016 - still a very long time for those of us expecting something before 2015 ends. As weeks go by, I get more worried since Phil already confirmed they are touring France in December this year. I don't think they will tour without releasing something but who knows!

I really doubt they will do a surprise release of the whole album. But it is a possibility...

If you do not like the album, it wont be Stargate's fault but Chris, Jonny, Guy, Will and Phil's.

They are still working on the album as admitted by Rik Simpson. I am not really sure that December 4 is still a feasible date for an album that is not finished.
