@Faust: In Deutschland besitzt der Dezember ein Aroma von Kuchen und frisch gebackenen Keksen. somehow it's sounding weird. btw, apparently the german language has verbs of movement according to which u need to change the verb before. didn't know that. it's like in french and the use of the passé composé e.g. je suis allé(e) compared to j'ai mangé.

i've seen it and i liked it. however, it's not as good as the last. but i don't wanna complain coz generally i have enjoyed it and would watch it again.

Im Großen und Ganzen habe ich keine Probleme als Deutsche im Ausland. Im Gegenteil; die meisten finden es eher super, mit mir ihr Deutsch zu üben. Allerdings habe ich auch schon folgendes erlebt: Ein ca. 60-jähriger Israeli wird mir von Bekannten vorgestellt. Er lächelt und wir begrüßen uns. Im selben Moment sagt die Bekannte: Das ist Carolin. Sie kommt übrigens aus Deutschland. Darauf er: "Oh". Mundwinkel nach unten und er zieht seine Hand zurück. Daraufhin hat er nicht mehr mit mir geredet. Tja... ältere Generation eben. Man sollte solche Dinge nicht auf die Goldwaage legen. Ich kann damit umgehen und verstehe auch, warum für viele der Holocaust noch ein prägendes Erlebnis ist. Und auch wenn's unfair ist und ich eigentlich nichts damit zu tun habe, bin ich trotz allem Deutsche. Und Deutsch sein bedeutet eben auch mit der Geschichte umgehen zu können. Und gerade wie wir das tun, ist doch das Entscheidende. Übrigens reflektiert die westdeutsche Außenpolitik seit 1945 immer noch die Schande vom 2. Weltkrieg. Das ist natürlich deutlich zu spüren und spielt immer noch eine tragende Rolle. Und eben nicht nur in der Politik, sondern auch im normalen Alltagsleben.

i was gonna see it tomorrow. now i have to wait one more day. grrrr.

Einfach nur grauenvoll! "I would ratify Kyoto today" ... ratification is not part of the president's job. The president can only sign the document; which Bush has actually done. However, Congress will not let it pass. So there's nothing that can be done. Sorry. =) BTW, i suppose i have a Saxon dialect. However, it's not as strong as u might imagine. I have friends from everywhere in Germany thus i try to speak Hochdeutsch. I actually don't understand Plattüütsch. Horrible dialect! lol

Hab' ich auch geschaut. :D Der Typ, dessen Vater aus Ungarn war, wohnt bei mir in der Nähe; ca. 10min entfernt. Meine Familie hat übrigens 'ne ähliche Story, da mein Tante auch mit einem ungarischen Gastarbeiter in die Nähe von Pedec (?) gezogen ist. lol

Aber wie gesagt, meine Bilder sind noch nicht online. Allerdings hat 'ne Freundin von mir schon Bilder hochgeladen. Die Verlinkung gebe ich mal bei Gelegenheit. Momentan reize ich nur meine Internetkosten, da alles zu langsam dauert. lol Zu euren Bahn-Geschichten... zum Glück habe ich mir das dann doch nicht angetan. Aber schon allein die Preise haben mich abgeschreckt. Ich hätte wohl bald mehr als 60€ zahlen sollen. Tsss!

Das Konzert war hammer!!! Ich lade nächste Woche mal meine 3 brauchbaren, obwohl immer noch misrablen Fotos rauf. Muss allerdings warten, bis ich wieder an der Uni bin. Im StudiVZ und auch bei GettyImages sind aber schöne Bilder schon online. :)

Geht mir so mit London. Die spielen 3 Konzerte und ich bezahle bestimmt keine 100 Pfund für ein Ticket im obersten Rang. :angry: Na gut, Berlin ich komme. (Und in Dublin schaue ich sie mir auch an.) Habe heute erst mal mein TomTom für Berlin eingestellt. lol Viel Spaß in Hamburg! :)
