  1. It's annoying coz she's played by Julia Stiles. :sneaky:
  2. The Social Network 10/10
  3. Love France! One of the most diverse countries in Europe. So far I only managed to see some bits and pieces of the north. Hopefully that will change at some point in the future. Avignon, for example. :)
  4. I started "Molotov remembers", interviews conducted by Felix Chuev. Let's see how that goes or if I'll get bored towards the end.
  5. Just seen the Golden Compass. 4/10 In fact, I was really disappointed. With such an amazing cast it was wrong to having let them disfigure the plot. They left out many good parts, mingled with the order of some scenes and thus made the film unsuccessful. :(
  6. Been wanting to see this. Will watch out for it. After years I've seen "The Witches" again. Still scary but maybe not as good as I remembered. lol Will give it 6/10.
  7. Silly is doing really good music at the moment. 8. I'm halfway through Pullman's "Northern Lights". Hard to comment on it now.
  9. 3 months ago I used to live just around the corner. Passed the theatre every day. Bugger! :laugh3:
  10. Fantastic! So love it! More of it!!!
  11. Waiting for it to come out. Already loved The Corrections. :)
  12. Gosh, it's very good! :shocked2: I like!
  13. Virgin Suicides - 6/10 A decent attempt...
  14. Hope you'll enjoy it. :) Yes, first Dracula prevented him from harm because he still needed Harker. Instead he appeased the ladies with another victim. Do you remember the sack? However, he never intended to let him escape his premises as "food" for the other vampires eventually. Towards the end of the book Mina briefly mentions the lucky escape of her husband and him being spared from the ladies. As I said before I found this part fairly confusing too. Dracula left for London, leaving Harker to the ladies. But it was daylight and Harker seized the opportunity, only having to avoid the gypsies. Now I am wondering if the film by Coppola shows his escape. Maybe it'd give some insight. ;) It's coming to an end now as I have to prepare for uni, thus being stuck with a book about financial reforms by Stiglitz. lol
  15. I experienced similar ecstasy at Wimbledon. They didn't fight although the constant shouting was really annoying. It's tennis for good's sake - traditional exercise for the stiff and boring, money-centred newly rich. :laugh3: what's happening?
  16. Jonathan Franzen - The Corrections
  17. Sorry, took me a while to get back to you; went on a holiday. Tbh, I asked myself similar questions. I think Harker escaped in the daylight running to the next village and there taking a coach to the next train station. He boarded a random train going north ie ending up in Germany (or Austria?). There he was taken to a hospital. Dracula didn't touch him because he was supposed to be killed by the other three vampire ladies living in the castle. He, however, managed to flee beforehand. If he had stayed one more night he might have been their victim.
  18. Didn't surprise me as England is betting crazy. Worked at the bookies myself for a while. However, I doubt Paul will increase the chances of the English team. hehe
  19. Would love to be there one day. :laugh3: Radetzky March - Strauß [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hUH-zMfnFXk]YouTube- Radetzky March-Vienna 2010 - New Year Concert 2010[/ame]
  20. haha. seriously? been reading this book for... ehm... 4 (!) years. Already after the first 200 pages I started to skip stuff coz I couldn't understand his theories on Waterloo. Then I read another 200 pages and he gets off the story again and starts to grumble about different aspect of politics, AGAIN. Horrible! However, I admit, the story itself is great! ;) Amazing book, maybe you can explain me something when you finish it? Just shoot your question! I already finished it a while ago coz it prooved to be a real page-turner.
  21. Love this movies. It's utterly great! What did you decide on the end? I personally think Salt is better than A-Team. However, none is really good. lol
  22. only England? ;)
  23. love this kind of movie. will def go and see it as soon as it comes out.
