  1. Look, it's a joke you bloke. If you read my post, you will see the correction. And no, I do not have a congenital deficiency of thyroid gland secretion, you moron.
  2. Dark Chocolate & Peanut Butter !
  3. Maybe they just need to sell the houses to people who love music and parties! (or erect sound barriers - which wouldn't be all that expensive..):)
  4. Welcome trimp from Sweden! And now we will have to start acting united!:laugh3: Yes, that's us here - the Addams family, the Munsters. Have Fun, enjoy the show, and say hi to Ian and Jen, the dungeon-masters lurking about in the troll-hunter's cavern above..:P
  5. believing in the possibilities again. Thinking it through, considering the Achilles' heels in it, and charting new courses. All problems can be solved if we first believe we can..
  6. Collectively lost in a daze - will we ever get it together in this country, and see that the roots are where we must begin; and that to see the 'enemy' is to see ourselves, were we in other circumstances, and with another mix of cultural influences, would we not react the same way?. And it makes me wonder.. Just open your eyes, and realize, the way it's always been. All anyone really needs is a chance at a normal life. With work there is dignity, stability, productivity, economy, and comradeship. With access to education the eyes of the world open up and can't be shut again. Isn't it so much less expensive than the endless wars, and the tragedies of poverty? But to lay down a new foundation rights the building and settles the unevenness.. The mightiest tree, ancient as any stone temple we have ever built, starts with but a tiny seed - a small kernel of truth, which holds the blueprint for a giant..
  7. once there was a labyrinth, with a very neat monster in ancient Greek Minoan Lands. The truth will come to you a lot, if you listen . listen to the voice within.
  8. Welcome Coldplayer!! Enjoy the Roman forum here, and the posters on the columns!:)
  9. Even if we write an amendment, if the courts and congress are owned by the interests, what are the odds that they will interpret it as it is meant to be interpreted by the authors/introducers, and will congress write laws to enforce it? They pulled that catch-22 once before.
  10. How to word an amendment, so it is sufficiently broad, yet it protects the central issue.. they get longer the further from 1787 we go.. probably better to be clear than too concise..
  11. No. I've been free for years! How long does the average spider take to spin a web?
  12. That's right! 9:09 and we're in maple leaf time - the only time that can cover pancakes with syrup.:) Gosh, and now I am really hungry...
  13. You had to wrassle a wallaby, and your finger got hyper-extended, but you won the match?
  14. Burkas are not evil! They're quite soft and fuzzy, actually.:P Why ban attire? It is a free country, no? What if we banned bikinis? Or fuzzy sweaters? Isn't it taking the individual's right to choose their own attire away??
  15. Yes! Just turn the handle 1,000 turns and you will be a self-employed can opener!:laugh3: Next up: just try opening a plastic bag of pretzels with your bare hands! :P
  16. This:german-helmet.jpg (JPEG Image, 340x453 pixels) WWI, but the funny look has been used in countless funny movies poking fun of the Nazis..
  17. Well that dates back to before the Nazis, so I guess it's irrelevant (I'm thinking about the German WWI helmets - with the spikey ornament on the top). Anyhow, yes, Nazis were awful! What prompted this thread in the first place?
  18. Just 4 layers. But I used glue.:P What is the length of you big toe, in inches?
  19. You're interesting! but silliness takes time to perfect!:laugh3: The time now is 8:29 universal coordinated standard time. & I am listening to a growling stomach! Must go feed it.
  20. No insomnia to take pills for! For that, I use an all natural herbal supplement called beer. How tall a house of cards have you ever constructed?
  21. To harden ones' heart is never a good thing. It all the fault of those goofy hats with the spikes on top! :P
  22. Marina Welcome! It's safe here, except watch out for the big fuzzy spiders!:P Keep Italy Warm.;)
  23. 8:11 and all's well! I'm contemplating the pretzel.
  24. That or a strong wrist! Thank the designer for providing you with unlimited exercise!!:laugh3: Zeppo: "what's with your new pet cat?" Groucho" The cat got tired with the old petting, so I use a different pet now"
  25. Well, back to the more traditional ski-mask then?!:laugh3: I think that's not a good reason to ban a burka - that's like banning bananas because they could be used in a hold-up. Instead, ban the burka because cute chicks shouldn't be hidden from view!:P
