I'm still looking for the "white" people. Last time I checked, I was this tan/peach color, and someone else might be lighter, or chocolate brown, but really, we're all pretty much the same. Different opportunities, different locations, different families, differing cultures, but skin tone is just that - no big deal to me..

Well, it's easier to hide behind a mask; the mask of their insecure selves- outwardly offensive, and inwardly afraid of letting down their guard, and admitting that Coldplay's music is very soulful! (and excellent in general!) Inspiration takes many forms, and each groups remakes earlier tunes to create their own feel to it; some of these tunes are as old as the hills, and often that's where they came from!! So, the Beatles reworked old claims, to find the lost nuggets of gold in the hills! And Coldplay seems to have mastered the art of mixing & changing songs to create whole new ones, with many of the attributes of these earlier works. And I'd like to see these critics make great music for a change! It's easy to sit in the back & throw spitballs; hard to stand in front and create masterful art!:smug:

Yea, that's the ticket! Szeged! I was close, though! Thanks! My paternal grandmother (Jung) came from close to there - Sanad on the east side of the Tisza river, actually, but the rail line went right from there to Szeged. (in those days it was a long ways away - 12 to 15 hours by horse!) I used a translator to decipher the Hungarian, and try to reply in Hungarian.. I Wish I knew the language, but it looks very different from the Germanic and Latin language groups I'm familiar with! My grandma used to speak Hungarian to us, and my Aunt still knows quite a bit of Hungarian. But, alas, it's a cipher to me.. And I've always been fascinated by genetics, so it came as a bit of a surprise to find out that Cherokee Indians share a marker gene with Hungarians which is unique to the two groups - which throws a wild card into the settlement of the Americas by native peoples! And the pepper named Szeged I've grown - they're great for paprika! Anyhow, nice to speak with you, and keep making the great paprika!!

Hey, Madonna's a Detroit Gal - she's pretty down-to-earth at times! I'm less familiar with Gweneth, in the sense of her off-screen nature. Everything I read about her portrays her as very hard-working and sensible.. What's this? ...Ouch! Gweneth has a stick up her butt? You know, that can really hurt!:laugh3: Maybe she deserves to be a little self-assured,:gorgeous: given her hard work and dedication as an actress? I think a person deserves that, if they've earned it!

We all have days like that!:rolleyes: Life's complicated, so don't feel bad Chavi! (Haven't we all blown hour after hour doing some silly thing or another?!:laugh3: Boy, I sure know I have!!) So, relax, chill out, and then go grab the bull by the horns! (& Hey, it's Sunday, and Sunday is a day for lolling around - it's healthy to do that on occasion!;)) And I was actually enjoying weeding the melon patch - sugar baby watermelons!:cool: Last year I had good luck growing some French melons - Chartrais? They really were bursting with flavor, and ooh so sweet! Anywhohow, everybody have a great day!:)

I prefer the term "growing" - and getting better at making great music! But yes, the pressures of family life, fame, and the papparazzi can be a bit much for anyone! If you've ever been spied on, ever have lost some of your privacy / been intruded upon, it does make it hard to retrieve a certain sense of intimacy and sincerity (especially if your vocation is producing music that is intimate, sincere, introspective, and sincere!). But hey, their latest album is most excellent, so apparently the bumps in life he's gone through have been minor enough to allow him to continue flourishing!
