  1. wondering how people wind up the way they do... an echo from the past, or the winds of the times affecting them?
  2. The last TV show, well, what's really a TV show? Like, does it have to be some drama, or some variety show? I think it was Lawrence Whelk recently! :P with the bubble machine and all the dancers - now that was cool! and a one, and a two..
  3. Anyhow, the "no Dana, only zuul" quote came in handy in describing a certain someone, and as to whom I am referring, I shall not mention. :laugh3: Sorry Carrie!;)
  4. That, and there's a pointy-headed psilon in the waving red part of the flag!:stunned:
  5. Genoa , Italy
  6. :laugh3: I found that intensely funny Lory. Thanks for posting the vid. ;)

  8. To post or not to post, that is the question.
  9. Funny! How just an ending makes all the difference.. Phonetically speaking, all is well.. alright, back to our regularly scheduled programarambling, already in secession. Ullman, Tracey.
  10. That's right - the answer is clear. Be obsessive on two fronts, the better you do at school, the more obsessive your studying, the more obsessively you can reward yourself with music, until you become happily insane! :laugh3: A little fear helps, that's true. Too much fear kinda paralyzes tho. Better to feel the buzz in the brain from scintillating studies, then go for a musical release.
  11. Yes, those Semi's make tones, I agree.. Semi tones, half tones, bell tones, X-Y lotones!;) I'm working on something with deeper, mellower tones now; dark mahogany tones.
  12. Only when the camp town girls from the racetrack came round.:P
  13. Re Mi Do Do So 5, but there's that repeat. and don't you dare poke her in the face MC! :P
  14. Alright, what goes on up there in Canada? :P Missile - to - alien craft contact isn't generally conducive to friendly relations..
  15. Toronto!!
  16. Must be from the Heartlands! :sunny::heart::sunny: All Heart.
  17. So the initial question was Why do Coldplay get so much hate? Which I think has as much to do with angst by hateful types who have an allergic reaction to anything deep or emotionally sensitive, humble, diverse, creative, or otherwise of a higher intellectual order. They're just Oscars popping out of the garbage cans to shout denouncements, that's all. So ignore them or only respond to their better nature; they're insignificant in the advancement of human understanding. Some see only one color; the monochromatic types. They get testy whenever the full spectrum appears, as it hurts their eyes.
  18. You see, that's just not going to build lasting peace with the space aliens, Tracie. Violent video games are why we haven't made contact!:laugh3:
  19. What if you were born deaf? And what's wrong with wanting to be a hobo?! I sometimes relish the thought, riding the rails with no particular place to go, a good can of beans warmed over an open campfire, just a harmonica, some rambling friends to be with, and no worries..:laugh3: Willy Nelson! He was boxcar Willy, and look how famous he became!! Does it make a person crazy?... hm, I dunno, but I wish I had the time to find out!:P
  20. Sade
  21. Yes! Wacky Mark! Mark's rolleyes too! :laugh3: Before that, there was just :--) and 8--) and $--) depending on the state of inebriation.. And it had to be typed or written with real ink, and it was then read without instant rebuttals. At least when you read a MAD magazine, it wasn't a live feed, it didn't leap off the page at you! And even before that, there was just the stick man and the smiley, laid out in the sand where one made camp at night, but you always knew who made it! (unless peering at neolithic cave paintings, but they were doing it for their own amusement, or so we would assume, and besides, that's high art, so it doesn't fit well here).. It all came about when they wanted to do higher math with iterative calculations, and that led to computers, and look what that can do for us! Anyhow, I digress.. :laugh3: In the beginning.. there was fire, which led to burned fingers, and charred toast. But it was fascinating, so we worked with it. Always a fascination with things that can be risky, but it's for learning lessons. One day, we might just get it right.
  22. You know, before the internet, people had to be real. I'm beginning to wonder about technological "progress", for while it can do amazing things, it also allows some pretty wacky things to happen as well...
  23. No more salt onto wounds, for how many of us have been smitten by the same ruse? Learning lesson yes, but it's time for the problem makers to learn a lesson too.
  24. happy birthday Briggins!:sunny: Keep Canada Cool!
