The official **KEANE** thread
I'm amused. They are now starting to do panorama shots of the crowd like Coldplay do. Not sure if it's a one shot thing but it's still funny. Lol

Coldplay to Take 2013 Off
Can they go on a hiatus AFTER an Asian tour and an EP release?! :P
-
Yeasayer
What do we think of Fragrant World? I think it's pretty good - not as good as Odd Blood though. I do love the first two and the last two tracks. :D

Hurts Like Heaven 5th MX Single
That's a very good questions. It's like the Charlie Brown video all over again!
-
Two Door Cinema Club
It's a lot more darker and less preppy than TH. Favourites are: Handshake Wake Up The World is Watching Spring Pyramid I think Spring is my favourite track among all. I really do enjoy the album but it took me a few listens to get me into it.
-
The XX
You're not the only one. Even after listening to Coexist, I still go back to listening to xx and find new joy in it.

Two Door Cinema Club
Full album stream here: https://www.facebook.com/twodoorcinemaclub/app_335804376512451 That is if you haven't already listened to the leak. ;)

The XX
Yup, it's on the album! :)

Coldplay vs. The World of Music
I don't think the music is getting worse. People's tastes in music are. If people had better taste in music, artists like 1D, Bieber and Nicki Minaj won't be getting so much airplay and dominating charts. That's my opinion anyway. But I don't listen to the radio anymore so it doesn't really bother me. Thank goodness for Spotify.

Bloc Party
I don't get 3x3. Too hard core for them! Lol.
-
Hurts Like Heaven 5th MX Single
We are almost reaching the end of Aug! :\

Bloc Party
Other songs I'm loving are Real Talk, Day Four, Truth and the two bonus tracks. Yeah, I'm enjoying the slower songs more than the rest. :P

Coldplay/Keane/Muse trends.
Because Perfect Symmetry was crap and I'm personally glad they went back to what they are good at. :P I don't know about the rest but I think Coldplay and Muse have reached the top of their game and the next step would be them staying at the top. Keane on the other hand have miles to go, imo. I love Keane and they are one of my favourite bands but I can't put them on the same level as Coldplay and Muse to be honest. They seem to be a step behind. I know people will probably disagree but that's how I see these bands. :)

The XX
I hear it as new light...?

Bloc Party
So I'm not a massive fan of Bloc Party but I do enjoy their music. Listening to Four on Spotify and I'm really enjoying it. THIS! Least favourite would probably be 3x3

The XX
So after a few listens, I like it. Not as much as xx but it's still lovely. I'm still loving their sound so I'm really enjoying the second album. :D Disappointed there's not instrumental in Coexist though.
-
The XX
Listening to it now and I'm loving it so far. A little bit more techno/dancy than XX but still manage to retain their sound from the first album. So far Reunion is my favourite.

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
I love Madness. So glad for this song as I was worried that I would hate/dislike this album after listening to Survival and Unsustainable.

The XX
Gah! To listen or not to listen?!?! *sigh* Will listen...

The XX
The xx to Collaborate With BBC Orchestra On September 19, the xx will collaborate with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra for a performance, the BBC reports. They'll play new arrangements of tracks from 2010's The xx and their upcoming record Coexist, as well as new, specially commissioned work. The band will work with composer Alex Baranowski, who previously worked with Underworld on music for Danny Boyle's theater production of Frankenstein. The free concert will take place on the water, in the seaside resort of Bridlington in East Yorkshire, England as part of this fall's BBC Philharmonic Presents... series. It will be broadcast live on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 program. I think this will sound bloody amazing. Hope the performance will end up on Youtube somewhere.

Really? I haven't seen them in concert yet but going by their songs, it would seem an acoustic show would suit them more. But glad to hear they put on a good show! Seeing them next month and I'm really looking forward to it. :D
-
The official **KEANE** thread
Lucky! I think bands like Keane will do better with a acoustic concert than a full blown one, imo.

Really? NME just reported that it will be out next year so yay!! Can't wait!!!! :D
